That's odd that you say that because my friend said today that he thought that could be it. Mew evolving from its cutesy shell into something more. That would kinda be cool then I could have Mewtwo and this new thing.

I personally believe this new abomination has a lot to do with Mewtwo. Unless they entirely scrapped having Mewtwo come back for the movie, I don't see why they'd first show us Mewtwo as the hero and in the poster, only to re-dub the poster with this guy. Unless Mewtwo turns into or 'creates' this new pokemon.

Well they both are made in a lab who's to say the bad guys who made Genesect did not make this new one. Maybe to fight Mewtwo? :/ A clone of a clone perhaps?

I have no problem with him otherwise, there have been pokemon I don't like before, and will be later, but I don't have to use them, (but I MUST catch them, I gotta!).

Ok now that I can finally log onto Petopia (for whatever reason on bf's computer I can't login to the site on ANY browser. It just erases the info completely when I hit submit.)

1. I say that Mewthree or whatever it is looks like a young boy which is still creeping the hell out of me.

2. Looks too different from Mewtwo for me to suspect an alt form and rather a second go at cloning with potentially DNA that was acquired either from Mewtwo or Mew during an encounter or something or old DNA that was left over from the original experiment that was located elsewhere.

3. I cannot look at his toes right anymore now that I've read that they look like sausages. I was trying desperately to figure out what they reminded me of and then I read sausages and I was like YES! THAT'S IT!

Overall I am in dissapoint that all the fuss was all for that and they didn't even have the decency to tell us Sylveon's typing if it was already established and they just haven't gotten around to actually agree as a whole to release the information to the public. Sucky hour and a half of mah life during that livestream

The release news was meh..No confomation on Sylveons typing, and the new pokemon although similar to mewtwo, looks like it could be a new clone (perhaps we will see a return of Team rocket, or at least Giovanni). I was hoping for something a little more on game play, maybe a few new releases or even silhouettes or new pokemon. Guess they are really trying to drag out the suspense...sometimes a good strategy...most of the time not. There are still several months for new info/pokemon to appear.

I... I don't really have much of an opinion on this right now. I really can't figure out whether or not I like this. If it's a new Pokemon entirely, I won't really go all up in arms about it like most people seem to be doing, and I'll just ignore it if I don't like it because, hey, there's Pokemon from every generation I don't like. I don't see why I should start hating now. But if it's a new form of Mewtwo... It depends how it's played out. I'm guessing the upcoming Mewtwo movie will explain more about it.

... I'm on episode 37, I better start watching these faster if I'm gunna make it in time before the new movie comes out lol.

Also, I'm really not understanding the point in all this hatred. Don't like it, don't use it? Nintendo aren't gunna force this Pokemon upon you. I'm a huge Eevee fan and I'm not having a bitchfit about the fact that the new evolution looks... kinda shit. In fact, I'm not even going as far as to ignore it. I'm just not going to use that Pokemon in the game. *Shrug* Not seeing the problem.

People just want to say their opinion on it. Not anything wrong with that :3 It's only bad when they start insulting people I think.

Well yeah, of course people are allowed their opinions. But I've seen a lot of people treating it like it's THE WORST THING EVA and it's rather confusing.

I know what she means. For instance a friend of mine sent me a rather LONG(took up 20 text boxes)text message about why this would destroy Mewtwo and Pokemon as people know it. I disagreed and she flipped her shit to put it nicely. She told me if I was a true Gen 1'er then I would hate this and what they've done to HER favorite Pokemon. Note she's very flavor of the month. Mewtwo has always been MY favorite and hers has always been Pikachu. Hell she flipped her shit when Minin and Plusle(sp?)were released saying they were cheap Pikachu/Pichu copies. So basically what Snowy is saying is its ok to disagree but why flip like its the end of the world when Pokemon is still gunna be there, you don't like him then don't use him is the stance I take on the matter.

I hate statements like this, to be honest. Liking the first generation of Pokemon only seems, in all honesty, very 'hipster'. I have a friend who refuses to play anything that's not Red, Blue, FireRed or LeafGreen. She thinks that all the newer generations are 'cheap copies' and 'crap'. How do people know they don't like something if they don't try it? I like all the generations of Pokemon. Some had their weak points but there have been Pokemon from each I have liked and disliked. Chances are it's going to be the exact same with the new generation as well.

Thats how I am. I dont MIND people who like only the first Gen because I have a friend who does only like Gen one because it gives him feelings of nostalgia and the likes but.. that other friend thinks people who like the other Gens are just stupid and silly because they dont like ONLY the original Pokemon. I myself have Pokemon I CANNOT stand from all Gens.. Here's looking at you Geodude you flipping floating rock with arms.. Or you Jinx..you creepy thing you..or Mr. Mime /shudder. I also think Magmar has a butt face.. he totally has a butt on his forehead, REALLY look at him.. Buttface. His prevolution is so cute too.. I hate the Garbage Bag Pokemon whos name escapes me and the Ice Cream Cone from Black/White too... I have my favorites and I have ones I hate in ALL Gens...
