What a frustrating day. Everyone kept kiting away from me. At one point I had a warbringer down to 200k and a monk pulled him away and I somehow ended up flagged and got ganked just seconds before it went down. Don’t think it dropped the mount though.
Hope tomorrow bring better luck!
Also it will be reset day so here is to hoping for a blue drake!

REALLY I MEAN IT

So, I have been really busy and after the annoyance of the warbringer buff I just didn’t feel much like updating. Sorry! xD
So, I finished my krin tor offensive rep and got my cheap knockoff direhorn. =) yay for another thing to name Sammy!

Also, I got my second and third primal egg. I got this lovely black raptor last week and currently have egg number three incubating as we speak. =) I just love these guys!

As far as the white raptor goes, I’m at 3,300 bones so far and hope to start doing egg runs for people so I have an excuse to grab some more bones.

And now…for the story you have all been waiting for.

So after finally remembering how to turn npc scan back on after the patch, I decide to just go park my hunter in deepholm again since I had nothing better to do. I’m waiting to get called in for Xrealm RBGs and figured I should just chill out there while I tab out and read a book.
So I’m reading my story, feeling pretty content with my day. My camping break did me some good and I am starting to consider starting another solid Aeonaxx camp when my RBG leader whispers me and lets me know we are starting a few minutes early tonight.
“ok, send me the inv and lets go.”
So I go land, respect and glyph for pvp and decide to move over to the NW2 spawn point. But this server is a packed pvp server and I figure I don’t have a chance and start to consider leaving the zone.
Me: “Hm, this server is pretty packed today. I should just-”
NPC scan: BLLLLWAAHHHHHHHG!
Aeonaxx: *derpy whale sounds?*
Me: “ohsweetzombieJesus!”

Not only did he spawn just as I switch servers and changed spots JUST BEFORE I decided to leave, but he spawned so damn close that I was actually flying INSIDE OF HIM!
Despite being so close, I ended up shaking and freaking out so much that it took me a few seconds to actually target the massive dragon that was literally blocking my entire screen.
I mount him- and I don’t mean I get the mount message and fall, I don’t mean I tag him and he despawns, I mean actually mount that sucker and fly off!
Just as he hits 20% I hesitate as I recall a gm saying something about not being able to loot some rares cross realm. I take a deep breath and finish him off anyway. Before I even hit the ground I start to see flagged horde closing in on me. Lucky for me I had some ally campers trailing behind me and they were kind enough to keep them away long enough for me to loot.
Come on…

How long have I been camping? Since August I think? I can’t remember. After months of camping, half a dozen novels and fanfiction, 2 mass effect play throughs, a starcraft play through and more complete seasons of television shows than I can count…he is mine.

This should also help answer the cross server questions we have all had about inviting friends to your server to kill Aeonaxx. =)

Well me and Aeonaxx are friends now. I have stopped calling him the flying (dragon) man whore of the sky and he has stopped trolling me.
I used to think that he was an ugly green/purple color- like he had fought a rave and lost. >_> but now that I can actually get a good look at him, I like him. =) the purple crystals look so nice!
*squee* I’m so happy. I think I screamed like a school girl when I got him.

Aeonaxx: "quick! Garb my glowy crystals!"
ME: *grab* o,,o
Aeonaxx: "Rave drake awaaayyyyyy!"

WOW. Congrats. After that long, it had to come in a very unpredictable occurance

Now what would suck is that you realize that you don't even care for the mount. Who cares now anyways ! Congrats!

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Such a super feeling seeing him spawn and then actually GETTING ON him!!! Super, super grats!! I loved that fight so much, so much fun riding around on the back of a dragon to kill him rather than just aggro'ing them onto the ground.

Hehe thanks guys! I’m still not over how lucky I was. For the longest time I was working at the maximum bad luck capacity and to have my luck turn around so suddenly and so completely was just mind blowing! Not at all what I expected and I still can’t believe he spawned right on top of me like that but man I’m glad he did. I think there were a few campers just outside of his spawn point too so if I had been off by even a little I probably would have lost him.

So glad I finally have him. Now I have all of the stone drakes and all of the rare spawn mounts...minus those pesky warbringers of course. But I think those guys are more or less in a category of their own.
Hm, I wonder what I will go after next now that I have caught my elusive white (or in this case purple) whale.

warbringers will be easy when everyone is level 95 or 100.

Phew! Ok I think I have collected enough mounts to warrant an update!

So after the buff to warbringers I decided to just chill out in Kun Lai. I didn’t have anything that needed doing and I was watching Mass Effect walkthroughs anyway- so I figured may as well camp the Warbringer that is an easy solo.
A few days later, I manage to land myself a slate! Naturally as soon as I got min, they started dropping like crazy so I managed to get two of my friends one as well.




after seeing a fourth slate drop I am about to log off seeing how parent controls are about to kick me, when an Amber spawns. Naturally I put on my cool kid sunglasses, say “challenge accepted” and attempt to kill the rare before I get disconnected.
Just as the count down reaches zero, he falls over dead and I rush over to loot.
And I get…
I get...
…i geeettttt…!
Disconnected. Didn’t get to see what dropped.
So I decide what the heck, I will put in a ticket to Blizz and see if they will mail my loot to me. They never have in the past but I think I have a better chance this time.
So I logged in today and found this in the mail.

Yeah- that had been the lucky one. Should have exspected as much from troll mobs. =P But this time things had a happy ending so a big thank-you to whoever sent me my stuff! ^.^ amber is my favorite so this made my day!

So I’m all giddy and excited but now I know I have a long farm ahead of me since Jade seems to be the least common color. So not long after i get abmer, I’m talking to my friend who got one of my slate mounts and tell I him to group up with me while he playes ME2 in another window since I now need someone to dump an amber mount on if it drops again.
Then to my surprise, Jade spawns soon after and guess what dropped?

My friend -being the gentlemen he is- didn’t even think twice about passing on the mount. He is so awesome. =) Gotta love that guy.
So just like that my Warbringer hunt has come to an end! I now have all the rare spawn mounts in the game! This was actually very laid back and rewarding, just killing that one spawn every now and then between movies. I think I will stick around for a few more days though and see if I cant get a few of my friends their mounts. Some of them have terrible luck. X.x

Also, I figured that its time to get back to doing my argent tourney quests so I can try and hit 200 mounts before the next patch. I’m at 189 right now. working on getting my green raptor (I have gotten like 4 reds now! >.<) and white. Im at like 5,200 bones at the moment.

Not sure if I updated when I got this guy, but I have had him for a while now and I just love him! (even if he has a boxy face)


And last but not least- I have managed to make back the 120k I lost! So I’m back at 240k and working towards that tiger! Whoohoo!

Nah. I wish they would though. That is just my addon: Rarity . If a mob can drop a pet, a mount or a fluff item, it will keep track of your kills, feed you statistics and give you an achiv animation if you get your item to drop. I got if once i started farming skyshards and decided to keep using it to keep track of my other crazy hunts.
