OK, news on the appearance on the King Spineclaw crabs.

Apparently spiked crabs take two skins. One for the base colour and one for the markings. So what Noah can do is make new mixes where, say, the ghost skin is the base and the orange skin is used for the markings (or vice versa) and that's what was done here. This opens the floodgates for a huge number of other potential colours, many probably very awesome like this one

More variety of crabs = more ferocity crabs!

Oh thats awesome! So excited to see different combo's now! (recolor the ghost base model one to be purple and then do a blue/purple combo >.> i bet it'd look amaaaaazing... that is if its at all possible to slap the ghost model over eachother to create that effect. I really dont like the current blue+black spiked deepsea crabs, the blue is not a shade i fancy)

I just tamed an Ik'thik Amberstinger elite scorpion, so they are now tamable, didn't see it mentioned.

Also, I still have my Yak in my bags, I don't dare to put him in pet storage, I'll lose him for sure.

Nah, you don't lose them, they just don't have a portrait and don't sow up in the stables. They are still in the stables though, but to get them out you have to replace the spot they're in with a pet from your main 5 slots.

Sweet! I'll just have to remember not to put a pet in that spot. I just tamed the Bitterwater Crab, and it's sort of pretty to look at. Not as pretty as my Ghostcrawler, but nice. Oh, I guess it's the blue one with black spikes that someone doesn't fancy, ...I took a closer look, and thought it was all blue/dark blue.

Also tamed a Dread Scarab and a Ruby Venontail in the Dread Wastes.

Now, don't get too excited (or too down, I guess?) because this is in Jade Forest so it could always change... but I found some bears with the solid Arcturis skin.

The adults are undead, but their cubs are marked as beasts!

Again, don't get super excited or anythign just yet. It's possible they're not supposed to be beasts, but who at this moment in time! Just thought I'd point it out though.

oooooo those are eeeeepic! With a name like that, it isnt surprising to see they're undead, and its most likley a bug that the cubs are beasts, but its still exciting!

Blizzard may get a few nasty posts in the forums if they leave those in as undead. Since the non-translucent skin has been datamined, many many hunters have begged and pleaded they be made tamable, putting in the skin as an untamable mob would probably not help the cause.

What if... the two bears that are posted above (Which are beautiful, if I do say so myself) are the common spirit beast people have wanted?

I very very very highly doubt it. <.< But maybe!

(though i doubt it will be a spirit beast, just a bear, but the skin could be reminisce of one... oh and lets just hope ppl don't /RAGE!?!?! about these guys so much that the thread gets locked up )
