I know! It's got me like double checking ALL auctions and even semi afraid to auction off babies. I hope he'll send him back to her or work out a compromise or something.

I made a post on tumblr about the bug to warn people, and I mentioned the person's name requesting them to give it back. I hope this hasn't happened to too many other people...

Not that I want to cause a mob mentality, but if the person is stubborn maybe some of us could leave polite messages on their Lair page asking if they'd give him back, it might make them nervous if we remind them that it was a glitch and that so many people are aware of it?

My friend has messaged him with her offer, I told her to contact FR if he wont be reasonable but I was thinking the same thing. It was a bug and its a BAD bug, one that personally terrifies me.

Just remember that one mans polite message is another's harassment. It could go the other way and make him not want to give it back too, more so if they don't think it's a bug. I could see that happening too :/

No, I agree, that's why I was saying only as a maybe in case FR staff can't do anything and they don't cooperate. I'd just be so heartbroken if I was in that situation and I can't think of any other way we could help other than showing the person that people are aware. Again, not making the call myself, but putting it out there as an idea.

I put clothes on all my keeper dragons....even if they were ugly clothes after reading this. I think if they don't give it back maybe we could start a fund or something for ppl to donate to get her a replacement. Also remember the person who purchased it could be any age range with this game.

Let's also all remember that there's been no response yet, so there's no reason to get really anxious about how we'll deal with a problem that might not even arise. ^.^;; Hopefully he or she is perfectly reasonable and understanding and none of this extra precaution stuff will be necessary.

Indeed, I'm hoping so. She told him she'd give him a hatchling from Brightmoon and Adiz when they breed plus his 10k back. I told her to keep me updated and will make sure to let you all know. I'm glad to get this problem out there though.

It's certainly something to be aware of, I wonder if it's related to that hatchling image glitch we had before the server move.

That was honestly my first guess when she told me what happened. Like maybe the codes of the dragons and the pictures of them got all mixed up?

Keep in mind too that it's pretty late over in the central and east coasts and we don't know what timezone the person now in possession of the dragon is in so it might take them a while to respond. This is a very sad thing to have happen but try not to panic too much as it's too soon to accuse the person of anything when they might simply be asleep or out for the day or something.

Aye not accusing him of anything. When he responds he will either prove reasonable or unreasonable. She did tell me that someone pm'd her and said that this happened to them too but they weren't as fortunate in getting their dragon back. That alone and that it is happening to others warrants a bug report to me..

FYI, if you go to the Auction tab, then click on "activity" you can go down to "history" and I think that can show you more info...Wonder if the issue has something to do with the on-going coding. might also be related to the issue of AH purchases staying in the sellers lair rather then going to the buyers.

I'm not sure. That happened to you didn't it? That's also a pretty serious bug in itself? Do they know about that I wonder? I'm surprised that they haven't at least taken it down for maintenance regarding that issue and now this possible new one.
