Yeah I can totally see how its the admin's fault that a good portion of their player base and the loudest ones I might add are whiny babies....oh wait no that's a problem with the players who expect perfection from a new site or hell any site for that matter. We have such an entitled internet generation that it is scary sometimes.

Oh and can I add the economy is not right ANYWHERE real or in the net

I think you could easily point the blame to the player base and the admins for a lot of things that are wrong with the site.

You can't just point the blame on one or the other.

Agreed. It's both. The admins did a lot of crap on their own but they also don't stick to their guns. They let the louder playerbase run the show a lot too. It's one thing to take constructive criticism into account. It's another entirely to listen to every whiny brat and give in to their demands.

It bothers me that people are asking these players to get banned because the site went down for a total of 20 minutes... It's not like it was some game-winning exploit.

I honestly think there should have been at least a temp ban. I understand it wasn't super game breaking, but they knew they were exploiting a bug. Had this been any other site or game, they prob would have been facing even a perm ban by now.

I'm not sure I'd agree with the ban thing tbh - as Snowy says it wasn't game breaking, nor did they post anything offensive or distressing (which they could have done) - I've used some exploits on WoW that were intentional at the time - anyone remember the tiny bugs from Naxx you could tame for a short time? They were hard to target for PVP'ers but no one got even a telling off for taming one and using it in battlegrounds - infact, they just grew the bug up to normal size and now has a unique blazing trail of black xD

I just wish the admins would blank out the whiners in the community for 1 moment and fix the site good and proper - they are gonna loose users as the main aspects of the site are flawed - there's no point in introducing new genes, new breeds, new apparel or skins/accents if you either can't afford to buy them or can't afford the lair space. On a site that has optional premium currency you shouldn't have to put your hand in your wallet to succeed The site's treasure making features aren't very user friendly - the coliseum is extremely hard work if your disabled - the fairgrounds games are monotonous - but these should be additions to the breeding game, yet for me they are the main aspects now Maybe I don't whine loud enough - perhaps then the admins would sort this out

Fair enough if people used the bug as a chance to post offensive things, by all means ban those people. But no one did. And everyone was very friendly about it and just took it as a joke and I'm pretty sure the mods did too. It was just another 'whoopsies' moment that I'm sure everyone can laugh off. By all means if they could take the site offline for one whole day to do a bunch of bug fixes and sort things out good and proper, I'd be happy. I'd be bored but I'd be happy haha.

It's nigh impossible to even level dragons for exalt without the coli wigging out in one way or another. *Sigh*

I cant breed any pairs because of the random feeding

It randomly feeds dragons, so one of a pair is fed and the other is still starving, so I cant breed them

When feeding your dragons without having enough food for everyone, rather than give everyone an equal amount of energy it gives some dragons full/near full energy and leaves others starving and it can be random who gets the food. Something like that at least, it's not happened to me but I've seen pictures.

Rawr, much as it annoys me I'll be forcing myself to slog through the coli again later (can't be bothered with WoW at the moment, xpac launches always bug me) - if you like I can send the food I get your way

I agree with this. A temporary ban would be nice cause they do need to be punished for exploiting a bug. It doesn't matter if it was game winning or not. Every action has a consequence, whether good or bad.

Also I'd be totally okay if they took FR offline for a day or even a week if it meant fixing all the bugs and making new fairgrounds games that are actually enjoyable.

I was one of the many that was irked by the whole ordeal.... but a ban seems a bit much in my mind.

A warning not to do it again, or a suspension for a few days maybe, but not a ban.

I'm sorry if this irks anyone, but I'm actually not excited for the new registration window. I mean yay new players to (hopefully) buy stuff, but is the site really optimal enough for it? Maybe I'm just biased due to the site screwing me over this evening. Mostly looking at the coli but also I had some massive lag for a moment. It took a full minute to open my mail when I went to send Rawr some of the food I'd managed to collect, and a few times it got stuck when I added then accidentally removed a stack making me refresh and rewrite the message and reattach everything all over again. Navigating anywhere else also took a fair lot longer than I'd like.

Also, I do love the kindness behind it but I'm personally against free gift welcome dragons. I get that it's a show of affection and all that but, as someone else wrote somewhere, all it really does is inundate people with dragons from the get-go for nothing meaning they run out of space quickly and we get nothing for it. It ruins the "challenge" of earning enough to buy those dragons and very quickly they'll be in the same boat as everyone else in not having space and no treasure to expand. Could be very wrong of course

Again most of this is likely just trash from me blowing off steam xD It does make me wonder though. Especially with recent events I'd rather they fixed more stuff before letting more people in imo.

Vare: I agree with you on the free dragon thing. Like, it's great to give gifts to the newbies! But let them get their own dragons, drown them in apparel instead; things to pretty their dragons up once they buy them.

Well it's time for me to stare at the marketplace for hours I guess. I *need* that updated burnished gold armour for Jaime. I grabbed the helmet which is going for almost 80k on the AH right now. x___x Yeah I'd rather just sit it out and wait... At least I got a blood red wolf cape while I was waiting!
