I figured it out! On the far left side, there's a bit that's not quite as flamey you can run through as long as you stick to the edge.

Also, Kirix is a fast little bugger. Some guy wanted me to heal (despite me insisting I was feral and healing wasn't what I did.) and had me come over. I pick a spot and, whoops, that's where Kirix sits when he is untagged. Crap.

Spent the entirety of yesterday out at an amusement park. Didn't get help till about 2 in the morning. I decided sleep > RP and went to bed. I'm here now, though sore and tired.

And yeah, Sat. It wasn't too bad around 8ish though, because most of the people were leaving by then. The lines got to be stupidly short. :D
