I find /spit to be more offensive than /rude or /sit whatever. Its just SO unclassy and shows how immature people are. Only little kids spit when they're mad.

I agree, I wish they would remove the /spit emote.
On a different note: what exactly is wowjackass?

It's a site where you add assholes you meet and rate if the reason is legit or not.

Your post contributed so much. Really. I'm astonished.

Anyway, watched a stupid DK kill Skarr again today. AKAFSKDJFSD. What is it about Skarr and people wanting him dead? Do they think he drops "phat epix"? This was another horde dk and he just lol'd at us and said he'd do it again anyway because hunter tears are funny. Do people really think being hotshit in a game makes them hotshit in real life?

Now now....lets drop the hostility. This is the Consolation Corner, not Hostility Corner. :) Play nice.

Skitter died twice. I is sad...

I wasn't being hostel...

I just don't like seeing threads get off track. Sarantha...I get hurt really easily you know. Last thread I made and someone attacked me I cried and almost never wanted to come back here.

Anyways.

I got off wow for a bit after I was helping some alliance get Deth. We started the kite and got him down to roughly 80% when some ex guild mates came along and stole aggro from the alliance I was helping and started to kite Deth to the questing hub. Mind you I was unable to MD the poor night elf.

I told them to stop but they wouldn't and the only thing they said is that I shouldn't be helping alliance but rather killing them and making them miserable.

Once they got him to the quest givers hell broke loose and everyone ganged up on the purple man eater. I felt so bad that I'm camping with the night elf to help them once more.

That's sweet of you to stick around to help camp - here's hoping Deth spawns for you two soon!

What a horrible thing to do to an ex-guildie, though, sigh.

Watched someone kill Ban'thalos again. A damned mage. WHY do mages always kill him!? Is it because of slowfall? I have two mages in Molten Front/Hyjal and have never once been compelled to kill Ban'thalos.

I wasn't trying to derail the thread by saying what I said about the spitting emote. I was trying to comfort ahnalia cause they got spit on by someone and said my opinion about the emote in general.

I thought one of the points of "The Consolation Corner" was to console people when we can. Or am I wrong about this?

I tried to rehome Solix today. First I tried to help a Nelf, but I'm horde and he didn't have any clue what to do and after 3 attempts he left. Then I found a really nice Golin who wanted him badly and didn't know the "aspect of the cheetah" thing. I told him and helped him to slow Solix. But when he reached tameable health a gnome warlock showed up and put his dots on him, got aggro and dpsed him. Poor Solix died because of stupid gnome and the Goblin was left heartbroken with a tear :(
Earlier this moring I had already found a dead Karkin on the southern point. Too many dead rares for one day

It is and you are not. This thread is meant to tell our stories of any sort of griefing or frustration in-game, be it from pet-camping, mount-camping, or what have you. The spit emote is often used as a tool of griefing and, though I haven't been in here in a while, it seems like the discussion was based around that. There's nothing wrong with having discussions here, so long as they don't get too hostile or off-topic (and by this I mean that talking about MLP, no matter how much I love it, for more than a couple of posts is probably a bad idea). Discussing why something upsets you is a tried and true method of making you less upset, especially when you see that you're not the only person who would or does get upset by it. Why do you think psychiatrists have you talk about how you feel all the time? It helps you understand exactly why you're upset yourself.

Anyway, carry on, everyone. Just wanted to answer this question.

well once again I deided to try and tame kirix and once again the SAME hunter used a warrior to interrupt my tame and tame him himself. Why he needs 2 of them i have no idea but this is the 4th time he has stolen from me and I know of atleast 2 other people he's done it to. Sad day, i totally give up on Kirix

I tamed Kirix twice, but only because no one else was there and I had already asked general.

I would just like to add that after our guild's raid tonight a guildie hollered at me about skitter being up, not a bad trade. :)

I was trying to help another hunter tame Deth when I saw him... All was well until 20%. The hunter I was helping died, another hunter showed up, Deth then hit 10%, was chasing me while hunter rezzed, got me cornered, my feign death was on cooldown, Deth Deth Striked me, fell down dead. Felt so bad for the other hunter... :(

I don't know what feels worse having the pet your trying to tame die or the one you are trying to help someone tame die :(

I watched an alliance paladin and a horde mage gang up on Anthriss and end her life while two hunters (ALLIANCE AND HORDE BOTH) were wanting to tame her. I guess it takes two factions to grief people too. Sigh. The golden girl's life was once again wasted when two willing hunters wanted her. I even told the horde mage that she dropped nothing (I'd watched the human pally fail over and over again alone, but he downed her with the mage's help. Wonder if that 25g paid all his repair bills from having died 4 times?) and the horde mage immediately put me on ignore without even letting me explain that she was a hunter pet and that I would have paid him DOUBLE what she drops if he let her live. Oh well. Dumb effers everywhere these days.

Another sad story. Me and a BElf had been trying for a long while to get Kirix, and then some NElf comes in, interrupts her tame, JUST when it looks like she finally is going to get it, and tames him. I logged on my ally to question him, and he just said "she failed, she sucked, so her loss". /cry

No need to be MEAN about it! Be humble FFS!

Tried to help a hunter tame Solix, I did the kiting for him and hit feign death, the hunter wasn't taming him...just shooting him. So I spammed /p with TAME and when he finally started the tame, a pally ran through and plowed through Solix, killing him :( The poor hunter thought it was his fault, I did help him nab Kirix a bit later though :)
