If you re-read what I said, I liked the old way of training your pets, where you actually had to plan and research. Now they are literally pretty pixels, and nothing more, there's not even thought into talent trees.

Yep, attempted to find Portent a few times this morning, with no dice... then the server went down for a while so I kind of fell out of the loop of that.

I and about 3 others searched for Savages tracks for about 45 min with no luck.

This is going to be INCREDIBLY nerv-wrecking once it goes live. Just imagine, freaking out over tracks that you see and you lose sight on them. Uhhh

I may wait till I'm lvl 90 so I can at least fly above to track these

I will definitely be waiting until 90 to track them down. I may half search while questing, but hitting 90 and getting geared before the rest of my guild so I can tease them is top priority haha. Though if I do see Pattys tracks I might stop everything to find him >.>

Ok. I think I give up on the remaining maps. Trying to track down Hexapos and the basilisk at 86 is no fun. I might still be on the lookout for Patty though. But, if anyone has a map of those, I'm more than happy to link to it from the blog.

When I got him there weren't even any tracks for at least an hour up to when I flared him. I was just running from where the tracks usually begin in the northwest to where the screencaps have shown him on the east side, chain flaring. Ayep, it's gonna be murder.

Oh, and by the bye, we still have a dead zone, as Morchock, Yor'sahj and Zon'ozz keep painfully reminding me-- it's not going away till MoP.

Yor'sahj has a blessedly small hit-box, though--you can get extremely close to him, enough to be in your raid's aoe healing during Blood.

Wish I had my beta up-to-date, I don't have much better to do than camp rares--but I have all of the ones I want on live except for the reallyinsane ones like Aeonaxx and Poseidus (and I...kinda can't camp Poseidus at the moment because I'm still working out a fear of Vashj'ir after Whale Shark).

Hexapos treks through a number of level 90 elites (yup...he's a troll too), so I don't blame you for giving up the hunt. xD I'll see what I can do about partial maps once I finish this other project I'm working on.

...That's just evil.
