Hello everyone -

We wanted to let everyone know that we have hired a web development company to help us address server infrastructure issues. They are currently at work on improving the backend flow and function of the site so that it can better support the concurrency of users that we have daily.

Because of this, there is a chance that the site may be unresponsive, and certain feature may not work correctly (most notably HTML5 games/coliseum). They are working as quickly as possible, but we wanted everyone to be fully aware that the work was in the process of happening.

Thank you for your patronage and patience while our ongoing efforts to improve Flight Rising continue.

I love that some of the people in the tag on tumblr have a like... negligible reading comprehension. When I specifically state that I and my roommate would've been fine with my roommate's dragons being exalted if the person had bothered to name them like they did every other dragon they exalted, instead of making them the only dragons they exalted and left unnamed, how does that equate to 'oh no someone exalted my babies I'm so upset'? Jfc, people. Read.

We're upset because someone is pulling out her in particular to be rude to. And when she was the only ice flight member they bought from? And also the only one whose hatchlings weren't named? It reads like they're being rude to her just because she liked ice eyes best, especially with all the vitriol towards ice on tumblr.

God, I hate people in that tag sometimes. Don't tell me I don't have a right to be upset because someone is being rude to my friend.

FR still not making use of the news feature on the fucking site and keeps using other places to post news....seriously guys.

I posted a vaguely grumpy thread in my flight's forum about Ice and exalting perfectly good babies.

I had like three people jump down my throat in full-on Internet Rage Mode.

I made a post to the effect of 'well, if you hate drama, maybe you shouldn't spew acid all over people when they express an opinion or frustration. I don't think the problem here is me.'

I haven't made another post, and the thread is up to two pages.... presumably they're dramaraging each other at this point, I don't know.

I'm kind of afraid to look.

Augh I found two perfect dragons that could breed to make my dream Lemon/Maize/Maize with a really small range to work with, but their combined cost is 45k... I mean, I have more than enough, but 45k! ;_; I'll be right back to where I was and it's like all my grinding Shock Switch yesterday and today never happened.

i hate that its now way cheaper to buy your special dragon/ gened dragon then it is to make your own dragon special....

It is a little depressing at times. I mean, I love being able to get new hatchlings so often now for decent prices, but in a lot of cases I really want to buy a scroll to change one of my specific dragons and sometimes I look and go "Okay, well I could spend 250k+ or more on a scroll, or I could just buy a hatchling of that breed for like 1/3rd of the cost".

My food stores have taken a major hit with all this downtime and the site being slow/not responsive. I haven't been able to farm Coliseum for food like I normally do and I REALLY need to now. I might have to actually spend some Gathering turns on food instead of trying to get eggs.

Also, the site is being horribly slow for me right now. I was trying to farm Coliseum, but it's gone almost non-responsive at times.

I cant get coliseum or runes to load at all.

100k lair expansion .. UGH

I just played Shock Switch for like half an hour and it bugged and gave me no treasure.

What a bloody waste of time.
