I actually know of a few good dragon RPers on WRA. One is a twilight dragon - she's also the mate of the leading Cult RPer, who is amazing. I've had a couple run-ins with him, though not the twilight dragon.
Honestly, I've found that most of the people who go "OH GODS DRAGON RPER!" are either really bad at RP or are so elitist that they end up being boring to RP with.
I'm quite happy doing the majority of my in-game RP with just you, Tyger, as fun as being an officer in a major RP guild was. It got very tiring and I really can't be online to RP every hour of the day. O.o If I tried to do a single dungeon I'd end up missing some big fight.

Thank you for that Lupis, it's certainly reassuring. ^_^
I think I'm still going to plan on moving Indi over to WRA. I figure if I do run into random in game RP there, it's not like Indi's going to be running around going "RAWR MY NAME IS INDIGOSA AND I USED TO BE A BLUE DRAGON." It'll be more like the forums; you don't instantly know a player's name just because you can see the name plate, and Indi's not the kind of person to tell someone about herself unless she trusts them.
I don't know when I'll be able to transfer her, but I have her named saved on WRA in preparation.

It might scare some people off, though.
Eh, you're a good roleplayer, and as long as you find a nice group of people to RP with I'm sure it'll be fine.

To the normal person though, Indi's just a high elf (blood elf in game) death knight.

Aye, but people look at the nametag before they start RPing with you, regardless of whether they have their characters already know your name or not.

Kind of silly to judge someone based on their name tag if your character knows nothing about them. Oh well, if people judge Indi poorly then that's their problem and not mine. I still plan on taking her over there. ^_^ She's my absolute favorite character and I'd love for a chance to play her in game, even if it's just with Lupis.

I did made aquela an in game-rp character, I made her on azus relm just to bug her moat. had to add a special รข at the end og her name though, I couldn't name her anything else :< aquelas just not aquela unless shes aquela
Gazz'nils on hydrassil
and Razil (Under the name rubycat, im considering a name change if I get enough money) is in trollbane
Kasmus ceases to exsit. Unless you can create undead tauren then he will forever cease to exsit
as for what I have to say aout my characters, Im not too found of them. They all suck at fighting and it seems everyone elses characters can kill them anytime they wish. They also have very boring personilitys and seem to be side charaters
Yeap I think im just in some strange foul mood

Ruby, if you're referring to the duel I had with you, it's just that it's rather hard for a caster to win over a death knight, overall. Even then, all you really did was run away, and sure, running is good, but panicked fleeing isn't. If you want some hints on warlock PvP I'd love to help you, for example. All you need to do is ask. :)

You fight only as well as you wish, and as well as you know your particular character's abilities. Forum RP fighting is a lot different than in game, many of the abilities aren't set in stone and the player behind the character controls whether or not their player takes damage or avoids it. Obviously avoiding too much makes you OP, but constantly making your characters come close to death can't be much fun either. It's up to you to decide how to control them.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I know when I'm RPing fights, I tend to spend some time on wowhead looking up abilities, talents, etc.

Very outdated, but a few quite solid tips in it regardless. Basically though, you want to stay away at all costs, while still doing damage. That's why I love affliction, since DOTs deal their full damage regardless of whether you're running or not. Haunt isn't too shoddy either. :P
What spec is your warlock?

Haunt is freakin awesome, as well as affy specializing in fear and drains. I haven't played affliction in PvP since the changes, but in PvE, I have no issues maintaining my own health during a Cata dungeon.

You mean my alt or kasmus? my alt is demonology because. Well for fun, she may change at some point but its like how when I play a druid im a feral at heart (Roleplaying aquela is like alien to me

), and how being a hunter beastmastery is me at heart
Kasmus is an afflication because he does not really care about destorying things or his demons

Indeed. Fear is a vastly powerful spell when used right, though in the case of undead in RP it's worthless. Drain Life is a sweet spell regardless, since it deals some damage as well as giving you a neat little heal. Still, the primary concern when facing a DK is silences. DKs get so many it isn't even fun. We have a short-CD interrupt, a long-CD silence, a variety of stuns (Hungering Cold, for example), not to mention the fearsome kiting yo can get out of Chains of Ice and Death Grip. That brings up another important part of warlock-PvP. Demonic Circle: Teleport. Use it. Not only does it dispel slows, it can also be used while silenced, and it gets you out of harms way. It's the warlock's Blink. Make sure that you use it correctly though, when Death Grip is on CD basically. If you pop it and they just tug you right back you wasted a valuable CD.
Ah, splendid, then I can help big time. :D

I find that when RPing a spec I don't play much, I typically resort to wowhead for abilities. Hell, I've even wowheaded Indi's abilities and I leveled her and played her as blood.
My biggest thing is RPing how healing works. I've actually played end game resto on my druid so I have a much better idea of how to control Willowe than I did Alarial. For me it's just the wording of the healing and how to form them in RP and trying not to come off too OP (although resto druids can be pretty OP anyway, my bf and I had like a 30 minute duel of my druid vs his rogue).
There's a balance with combat RP that's a fine line to walk. I actually find it rather fun. ^_^
And yes, Sat, you bring up a hugely important part of RP I totally forgot about. XD Our race and class types actually matter in RP. As Sat said, fear is immensely powerful, but used against a death knight, it's probably nothing more than a tickle to their mind. As a caster, it's all about knowing when you're safe against a melee, especially against a death knight.
