When you are on Nessingwary, type /who petopians in the chat window and it will put a list of everyone that is online in the Hordie Petopians guild. 99% of the people can invite, just whisp them and tell them you're from the forums.

Aww, I hate to hear that there was drama.

Honestly though, this is the best way to prevent future drama. Might even want to consider if we want any guild rules put into writing. I always find that it works best to have something to refer people to when there is trouble.

And just for clarification: only Priests and Rynoh can invite now?

My guild just went through some drama, unfortunately. Someone invited a lot of people whose interests weren't really the guild's interests. Needless to say, we ended up downsizing and now it feels like a shell of the guild it used to be, even before these people got invited. We don't even raid on weekends like we used to.

I sympathize if Petopians had drama. It sucks.

At the moment yes. I think Ryno's planning on fine-tuning the whole thing soon, but at the time it was the quickest and easiest fix.

Yeah, sounds pretty similar. :/ For the Petopians guild it basically boiled down to a sudden surge of new members that were invited in. They were all just random people from the realm itself, not from the forums or anything, and they really clashed with the guild as a whole. I believe they expected it to be some sort of average socializing guild, but since we formed out of the community from Petopia I think it makes a lot more sense to keep it rather tight-knit. It's the reason we all got together.

Ok. I think it's the best solution really. If you want an invite, just check regularly or send an in-game mail to someone that can invite. Pretty standard imo.

For what it's worth, I think this particular guild has a good chance of staying resilient when faced with situations like this. We have a strong off-game community as our core, and that gives us an added probability of longevity other guilds might not have. And I certainly haven't felt that the guild is in any way...uhm, weakened of late.

That's taken care of, for the record. The thread with the ranking stuffs has all the details. I just can't get the game to let me move ranks around, so the actual ingame order is really messed up...

I've made a little baby druid on the server so I could have someone in the guild..and so that I could actually, you know, level a horde toon for once. I just have no idea who to send a tell to to ask to be invited in, heh.

If you whisper anyone in the guild, they can tell you who's online that can invite at that moment. That's probably the best strat. Welcome to the guild.
