All tracks are still backwards. :)

Pwncess gave good advice if you suspect there might have been a change. :D

Reporting in what ive learned about Bloodtooth on live~ Ive tracked him twice now and his prints are showing up clear on the sand floor in the water if you turn the water graphics to the point where you can see into the water without a glare (incase you play with high graphics on). He's a super easy find with the color difference of his tracks to sand and the place is extremely dead so if your hunting Bloodtooth, he'll be a quick capture! I dont see anyone running around with him either so he's turning heads wherever i go with him xD Good luck to everyones rare camps :D

Yay, good work, Winny! :)

And yup, that's in the first post, Xakaal, but thanks for reinforcing that info, since people mostly focus on the ground clutter settings. :D

Yep!
Kalliope wrote:- If you're having trouble seeing tracks, turn down ground clutter to low. It makes a huge difference in some zones.
- To have an easier time seeing underwater tracks, turn down liquid detail to fair so you can see more clearly through the water. The low setting will make the water impossible to see through.
- Phasing issues impact some of the beasts, so if you haven't completed the quests in certain areas, you may lose the trail through no fault of your own.
But it's not something that gets discussed often, since it really only applies to Bloodtooth. :) So it bears repeating!

Theres a typo in the sentence, it says 'The low setting will make the water impossible to see through.' but its the high setting that'll make it hard ^-^;;

Nope, high setting is harder than fair, but the lowest setting is completely impossible to see through. :)

There are four settings: Ultra, Good, Fair, and Low. Fair is easier to see through than Good and Good is easier to see through than Ultra. Low is impossible.

Ohhh you were specifying the actual setting 'Low' xD I thought it meant the lower end of the settings such as Fair  Ahhk, that makes sense ^^

Yep, broke the four down above. :)

I cannot thank you enough for the info! I was able to find Savage's tracks immediately, follow 2 of them, and then see a track appear in front of me :) Easy tame with no competition

MoP Beta is still up in case you want to continue tracing paths and whatnot. Just checked Lost Isles and there are only 25 alliance on in total. Should be fairly peaceful. ;)

Edit: Plus, Beta is still at build 16048 (live is 16057), so you should be able to check out burning pets from that quest.

DISFNSDIFNISNFS YES! After an hour of tracking, constant trail losses and lots of frustration, I finally got Patrannache! Thank you SO much Kali, I wouldn't have been able to do it if I didn't have Petopia as a resource.

Thanks for everyone's help and Kalli for telling me that I can do it myself despite denying my offers of cross-server gold (you would have gotten it.... erm.... somehow..... :) )

I got Savage last night after turning ground clutter to low. Really helped, and also specing with Readiness to be able to get off that second flare (my second flare was what got him out). Make sure to throw a hunter's mark on him/her to keep them out, because it turned out that I didn't even have a "tame beast" button on my hotbars for some reason.

Anywho, fun times :)

Had a similar "issue" lol, with tame beast not being there, so my mom got a hoot out of watching me trying to find the button in my spellbook while I had Savage tagged and trapped. Ah well, it was fun! I really like this for tracking rares!

Woo, grats on the tames! :D Really glad to have helped, especially as both sound epic in their own right. xD

I think Stompy missed me from the beta after having tamed him all those times, since he was patrolling on the side I approached from last night and appeared with my first flare. :) Either that or I've tracked him so much that I know exactly where to flare for him more than any of the others. ;) Hopefully everyone else has luck as good!

Not even Level 86 yet, but when I hit level 86, I'm a gonna go Sevage huntin'!!
Of course, I don't think I'm on the same sever as any of you guys, so, I'll probably be hunting by my self.... It doesn't help I have a cold too......
Whelp, off I go to level, and get mah Savage!!!
