I must say, I'm really liking the engineer profession. All the kits make it so fun to play (and turrets, mines, etc.)! My hubby and I were hanging out in the Black Citadel, and our idle poses were timed almost perfectly together. I thought that was just so quaint.








I did the /threaten emote a little closer to the camera than I meant to. Looks like Glock wants you to check his teeth.

These are from a vista I finally managed to get to and I thought it was such a beautiful area.

That is a really pretty area, Nef. I think the sky is what really makes it lovely, though.

So, I was being silly today, dancing naked after the beginning sylvari quest. In the second one, it looks like Dhaegan's being blasted by something, lol. My brother's an engineer and was chucking crap at my feet.

I also got a really pretty pic of some of the huge flowers in Caledon Forest. <3 This is now my desktop background.

Happy belated birthday, Saamid!

I made a sylvari elementalist last night (didn't play her 'til tonight though) named Driadhwyn (dree-ahd-wen). She's a bit unusual as far as my characters typically go, because she's very vibrant and I played with colors a little more. For instance, normally I'd have used red tips on the "hair" to match the skin pattern, but this time I used purple. It was really hard to get used to at first, but now I'm glad I did it that way.

Her face I've been on the fence about, though. On one hand, I like how it's open and you can see inside (and it looks really cool with the glow), but on the other hand, in some cutscenes it makes her face look really wide. I think after seeing these screen shots, though, I like it.

Sorry for the pic spam! Taking screen shots of sylvari is addicting. I just love this race so much! I've always been a nature person, and I love the movie Avatar (and sylvari and The Grove remind me a lot of that), so I adore them. :3

Very cool character, Rhyela! I'm a big fan of that sylvari face option too.

In the continued adventures of "Jex is a shrimp", we have him being stared down a mini flame shaman. Who's nearly as tall as Jex. ;_;



Skria and two friends basking by a fire- though Skria took up most of the room, to be honest. She was going to be wild and crazy and then suddenly she turned into CuteCharr, I really don't know what happened.



Aaaand of course another alt. Trying guardian again because I thought it had potential on Murr- but I also only recently remembered that norn have that neat animal spirit form. So norn time! Also wow some of the tattoo colors look really fantastic on dark skin tones. This here be Adis Greatstone.

Sorry for the double post! I bought a hair style kit for Dhaegan. x_x I'm not sure if the vine hair works with this face type, but I don't like any of the other faces for this particular character. So unless I wanted to completely re-do him (and I don't), this is how it's gonna be. XD Honestly, I like it a lot.

Oooh, I really like the vine hair. Cool stuff!

I finally managed to catch Claw of Jormag event .. and here I thought The Shatterer was intense .. sheeesh!

Wassa - i love the fact that you are in a Inquest guild. I thought it would have been sweet to be able to join the inquest during the storyline. (seemed kind of like a Xmen vs Brotherhood type of story).

Rhy - the face of Dhaegan looks amazing. I didn't know that was a option. The plant people kind of weird me out though so I never checked too much.

Well that's to each their own. Because I find it to look really really bad on lower settings

Personally, I think that could be said of pretty much any game.

Sorry for the double post. I just cannot get enough of The Grove! And I'm only *somewhat* ( ) enamored with Dhaegan's new hairstyle. I love the details in it, and how little individual leaves glow, and the curly vine thing that reminds me so much of some I've seen in the woods here in Ohio. This hair is just so much win, I love it! And yeah, The Grove is just truly beautiful. It's by far my favorite place in any MMO.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.

Fern hound! I've never looked at them up close before, but they really are quite pretty.


For someone who usually doesn't care for blue, I certainly do love looking at these glowing blue vines. I think it's one of my favorite things in The Grove.

Triple post because I'm a derp! *high fives self* Here's a pic of my first set of cultural armor ever! Yay! It isn't really all that "impressive", but it suits Glock so much better than the fancypants jacket he had before.

After a bit of a burnout, I got back on GW2 feeling very refreshed. Got Jexid up to 70- I might actually get a max-level character some day!
