It looks like something went wrong. The place to let us know about this would be in the bug report forum.

I'm actually kinda glad we're seeing the crashing now. For a while there I was thinking that this site would be ready for 5k+ players with how well the last few registrations went. This proves that the site needs more work. While that's not a good thing to hear.. It is a good thing for the FR team to see so they know to hold off on an open site till they fix these issues.

I GIVE UP. The stupid coli is freezing for me about two rounds into ANY fight. I haven't been able to finish a single battle in about half an hour, so I give up.

I've now been in the coliseum well over an hour. Only done 6 fights. No chests. Two chest from my gathering remain unopened simply because every time I try I get the error.
I tried moving the chests to my vault and back. No dice.
@ Alex - As said be thankful you have that. I haven't gotten jack from this event so far. Of the four chest, the two I got lucky to open had ONE food item in each chest. That's it. No offense but don't whine that you aren't happy with a nocturne's colors when there are probably hundreds of others, if not a thousand, people who've gotten nothing. I saw on the "bug" forums that there are people who've little spent their gathering turns with no chest, eggs or anything. Two people have reported not even getting their extra turns at all. Consider yourself lucky.

I do I'm not saying I'm not; I've grinded since rollover this morning, 400+ chests for the bugger and honestly I'm more than tempted to just keep him and scatter his scaly ass until I get colors I want but I'm just frustrated with FR and the lag and the fact the admins didn't possibly plan ahead that their site couldn't fucking handle this many people doing so much at once and I'm just sick and tired of today with all it's problems with FR and me freaking out about an email-hack scare earlier

I've only ever gotten food out of the few chests I've managed to find. Those of you who've found eggs, scrolls, or even just candles and puppets are FAR luckier than me. :/
