So um I just got every single direhorn except for the one Oondasta drops in one night. <_<
I will explain further later today after I have gotten some sleep. XD

Since my guild has pretty much become a group that logs in whenever they feel like it and we haven't done a single dungeon or raid in MoP yet, it's looking like the only Direhorn mount I will ever have is the rep one. Since I'm now Revered and bought the commendation, it shouldn't be long before I have it.My only raiding in MoP has been LFR and there's no way I could solo a Warbringer. The point about the guild is that we don't do anything as a group any more.
There are never more than 3 or 4 members on at a time and many times, I'm the only one. There also are always groups of people flying around and killing all the Zandalari rates.

You can solo them though. That's what 95% of hunters are doing so, Daniel.

No I can't. I haven't even been able to solo a Warscout or one of the adult Dinos. Even the young Devilsaurs are a dicey thing for me. I couldn't solo the higher level Pandaren rates either on my way to getting that achievement. I tried soloing a Skyscreamer on the Isle and got quickly owned there . I have the full range of LFR gear too.

And you do it with a serpent and ice traps and always keeping growl off your pet so you keep aggro and just kite kite kite? (I believe glaive toss and immo trap are used for the scarabs)

Soloing the big Devilsaurs is rough. If you have enough kite room, its possible but rarely is there enough room without running into other mobs. Skyscreamers plow through my pet too, I think the adults are meant as group mobs, we can only kite kill them, and theres rarely enough room.

As for the warbringers, all gear is going to change is how quickly you kill him while kiting, it wont affect the kiting itself. My new 90 hunter (ilvl 436) has been able to kill one, just took FOREVERRRRR (and was particularly hilarious to see Horde come and flag and fly around me for 30 minutes in a hilariously failed attempt at griefing). It can be a rough kite (I have had the frustrating fun of having both a warbringer and warscout on me at once -_-). I do it in SV due to being able to keep up full rotation easily while kiting.

What I do is keep concussive shot up and circle kite (not pet tank), ice trap and glaive toss too, and stay as close to max range as possible (not always possible). All 5 spawn points are remote enough to be able to safely kite without pulling much else. Kun lai and Dread waste are a little dicey though. Just make sure to give yourself time, I am ilvl 492 and it takes a while. If the warbringer has the tribal mask fear ability, it gets even trickier, but still doable (I misdirect constantly in this case so he ends up chasing my pet the whole time, and consequently fears the pet and not me). I tend to kite over uneven terrain, as mob pathing gets hinky over uneven terrain and can give you some breathing room to create distance. Also I have had one get stuck in a tree in Jade Forest and reset sub 30% hp. Very annoying, so be wary of that ><.

I can't kite worth a hoot and never could. I either get killed or lose aggro every time. If my pet can't tank something, I'm in big trouble and it's not worth even trying. I can only handle about 6 key binds and that's it so I have my rotation macro, serpent, Kill Shot, Focus Fire, Spirit Heal, and Exhilaration bound. Anything else has to be done with mouse clicks. I can only type with 2 fingers and have to look at the keyboard to do that. I also move with the mouse and never use the movement keys. Any number key higher than 4 is pretty much unusable as well since my right hand stays on the mouse at all times.

Daniel, send me a PM and I'll give you my turtle tanking strat, it works very well but some glyphs and talents are mandatory for it.

So! My third Primal Egg hatched and I got a Black Primal Raptor! Still no green but it's one I don't have and it's adorable! I had this horrible feeling green would be the last one for me to get... XD

How are you getting eggs so easy and so quick?! Are you farming the big direhorns with other people or something? And of course green is last for you, can't have your favourite colour easy, can you? xD

I just farm mostly the young direhorn and young devilsaurs by myself. Sometimes I solo the adult direhorns as well if I'm in the mood. But yeah I just farm and farm and farm and don't leave until I have to or until I get one. xD

I can't solo a young devilsuar XD I stick to the young Direhorns. I've found when a young Direhorn starts to charge if you run close to it it will stop the charge. So that's handy to know too.

Also if I have not said it before grats on everything! I find those damn scouts to be a pain sometimes I don't know how you can do the bigger ones (tho my gear is not that good yet only started doing H like 3 days ago )
