Doesn't bother me, but then I'm not a Hunter mostly. I'd also worry about graphical overhauls when I get my damn updated Moonkin form it's been 5 eyars now and it still looks awful augh.

On yer worms though doubt it'd ever happen unless they were fully designed to be more than "sticking out the ground". They're like a Diglett, there's nothing under there at the moment as it does't need to be seen and given that'd take art resoruces to do... Maybe in the distant future but not any time soon I'm afraid.

Every hunter likes a pet for whatever reason. And that is their prerogative.

I of course wouldn't want anyone to lose something they enjoyed...however, If graphically as blizz develops we have these pix elated cats standing next to the sleeker models its kind of odd in my opinion. Didn't mean to offend anyone just saying Atari vs Xbox graphics would seem odd standing side by side in the same game.

They should at least get an upgrade in visual appearance, not necessarily a full blown transformation.

At any rate did anyone like the idea of hunter achievements or titles?

Well, if you didn't hear it from me, you would have heard it from someone else :P The point is, that I felt I had to object, because I don't want those kind of ideas go to the final stage. You could have just settled with saying you want the Sambas with more colours be available :P But, as I edited in, I hope that Blizz learned from the major objection when they just changed colours on a very special rare (to some people atleast) and will not do this again.

I totally agree that we could use an upgrade in the pixels department, but I think it would be hard to do it and still keep the "same" look of a pet. I mean, say that Sambas would be the upgrade, it's a totally different appearance, and the line between upgrade and new model is very thin.

I kinda liked the idea of hunter titles, but then again, Blizz wants everything equal and stuff, so maybe at best, they would implement it and not give achievment points or something, or maybe a feat of strength?

You know what would be nice also...having it impossible to have a potential pet killed or even the hunter for that matter, except by each other "while a tame" is in process. Some sort of immunity during the tame. Any other time is understandable.

i recently found my new favorite rare that needs to be tameable
ill let the screenshot speak for itself
if any of these creatures where tameable it should be this guy

Given that all gyreworms were turned into elementals as opposed to beasts in 4.0.6, I think that's a pretty definite answer that they will never be tamable.

b. Rare STable: Maintain a Rare Pet in each of your 25 stable slots :Title Rare Hunter.

8. Lets talk about Pet Gankers...I appreciate the effort with the crystalized tear being a grey item drop when a rare pet is killed...but it's silly. If a Rare Pet is killed by an idiot Ganker They should immediately get something called..Rez Sickness. No one would want this...it makes them think twice at the least. Give them rez sickness with the inability to hearth/ port/ Mount or be summoned for 25 min....now That would be a deterrant.

9.Why not put some thought into reforging "pets" like the spirit beast? The crab lacks pin...the bear lacks swipe(?), The wolf lacks howl, the cat..well hes cool. But reforging the pet to have a fraction of their racial ability and maintain their skin....hmm maybe a good idea.

10. Hunters are trackers yes?? Give us the ability to use eagle eye while mounted....Zomg Wow!

The way you've stated a lot of these comes off kind of arrogant and like you know best. =/
This isn't a place to 'tell' Noah what should and shouldn't be done, it's to make polite suggestions on what we, as hunters, would like to see.

And for them to do your spirit beast suggestion, it would mean that each spirit beast would have to be a member of its respective species instead of a species of its own. I really doubt they would put in all the extra coding required to give each spirit beast part of its family's ability--they've already revamped them for Cata.

Not sure if this has been suggested, but...

I'd really like to see tameable spore walkers. I've wanted one for a pet since the first moment I encountered one back in Outland!

Thank you for what you've done for us :)

I've been thinking long and hard as to how to contribute to this thread with sometheing that hasn't already been mentioned and then some. The only thing that comes to mind is white raptors. The only one available is a limited-use mount from the TCG, and a lot of us here don't collect the cards.
So here's my request: tameable white raptors, both basic and spiked.
Also throwing my vote in for tameable mount-model raptors.

^-- I had the very same thought when I first saw them towering my character in Zangamarsh. I was in absolute awe by their kinda alienish look, and a bit disappointed when I couldn't tame one. :(

I'd love to see the dragon whelp companion minipets gain the ability to fly beside you on a mount. :)

I'll second (third?) this. I wanted one too -- I had a name picked out for him and everything. Wells, after H.G. and his Tripod-using, World Warring Martians. I was so disappointed when I couldn't get my dream sci-fi pet. The only cooler alien-esque pet would be a pet Alien (of the facehugging, chestbusting, Predator-fighting kind). Or pet Zerg, though Ravagers look kind of like Hydralisks with legs instead of tails, and classic silithids are expys of zerglings, so they're close.

Anyway, yeah, tamable spore walkers would be beyond awesome!

Hey, Noah...I know the art department is ungodly busy and all that...but could we perhaps get a flying fox-type bat put on the "to-do" list for future pet skins? It would add some much-needed variety to the bat family...and flying foxes are just awesome bat types.

I 2nd the flying fox, the bats really do need more veriety, and with all the species of bats to choose from...But yes, flying foxes would be awsome.

Blizzard. if you ever get a chance REVAMP THE MOONKIN FORMS!
I'm tired of seeing worgen and trolls get a recoloured moonkin form, I can under the cheetah and water forms looking all the same
but moonkin and tree?, yeah I would like a more of a selection for that, it would be nice if you gave the troll and worgen thier own moonkin forms
Maybe changing with hair colour also

Sod giving additional Moonkin form, just FIXING them would give those of us who have been using it 6 years now a visual update. The model is dated and the skin was NEVER designed with running in mind making it squash/stretch horribly to the point of I avoid using the form as much as possible. Only then would I hope alternate versions start getting considered.

Can we NOT have the 'auto-retarget and attack if a target dies while casting' thing?

It creates a nightmare in pugs when the last thing in a pack dies and you're left seeing that last arrow go streaking aaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllll the way across the room to plink something all the way in the next damn pack. If you MUST have this auto-facepull "feature", can you at least do something about shortening the range at which it will trigger? "The Entirety Of Your Possible Range" is a nightmare.

Aimed Shot and Steady Shot should no longer start casting Auto Shot on a new target when the "Stop Auto Attack" option is enabled.
Have you disabled this? :P
