For those of you with non-American versions of Black, White, Black 2 and White 2...the Shiny Palkia ends tomorrow! Get it while you can!

Americans have until Sunday.

Shiny Giratina will be available the day after.

The official site has revealed the new Pokémon. This Pokémon is called Doublade and is the evolution of Honedge. It is Steel/Ghost-type like it's pre-evolution and has the same ability of No Guard. It is capable of carrying out intricate attacks by telepathically coordinating its two blades to deliver twice the slice in battle.

I had a feeling they'd go the Magnemite route with the swords. I was right!

I liked it, and I made that known on the Pokémon Facebook page, but now I wish I hadn't bothered because that one, boring comment where I literally just said, "Am I seriously the only one thinking this looks AWESOME?" when everyone was giving it slander now has over a THOUSAND likes and over a hundred comments. It's been over six hours and the comments are still flooding in and now I'm scared to even go on Facebook. x___x HALP.

Seriously though, I really do like it, more so than Honedge. The name is... more than uninspired... but I can deal with it for the sake of how cool it looks.

Minor news regarding Doublade: He can learn the Musketeers' signature Sacred Sword move.

I really, REALLY do not know how I feel about this. I adore Doublade (Like, a LOT. Ghost type sword? ALL OF MY YES), and I adore Sacred Sword, and it's definitely an awesome move for it to learn... But...

YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE THE SIGNATURE MOVE OF LEGENDARIES AND GIVE IT TO NORMAL POKEMON! >:|

I agree with Senna. But, it does remind me of Excalibur so I guess it's not too bad.

I figured it would go the Magnamite, Vanniluxe, etc way which kinda dissapoints me. I, personally, do not care for this Pokemon but I do not criticize others who do approve of it (my bf thinks it's the coolest thing ever)

I hope the next thing they reveal will excite me more. Actually, I hope they just reveal EVERYTHING ELSE next

..I never said it DIDN'T. It does make sense, but it doesn't change the fact that until now, ONLY the Legendary Musketeers learned Sacred Sword. It was their signature move. So yes, it is odd that suddenly a normal Pokemon is learning it, because Legendary Pokemon have NEVER lost their signature move to any other Pokemon before.

For the record, I am actually pretty okay with it. I love Honedge and Doublade, and Sacred Sword is a WONDERFUL move for them, not to mention one of my favourite moves. I just find it.. Very odd that they learn it, since it was originally the signature move of the Musketeers. (I'm only a bit worried that it'll mean some other Pokemon will learn it.. I swear to Arceus, I will ragequit everything if Gallade learns it. >:|)

I actually wouldn't mind some of the legendary pokemon's moves being learned by pokemon who genuinely look like they can perform the attack (sorry but Ithink gallade could actually use it quite effectively considering only Keldo's alt form, Cobalion, and maybe Terrakion look remotely like they could possibly use such a move by using their horns. Virizion doesn't really look like she could pull off a move with the word 'sword' in it and Keldo's original form looks like, while he could potentially do it, wouldn't have the same degree of strength. Of course, this is based purely off physical appearances as concept art and nothing to do with how they've been portrayed in animation as I know that its never good to judge a book by its cover so to say. Their attitude, resolve, and inner strength could honestly be all they'd need if we were to see them in action)
