Wolf Sniffs the air i smell pray
For foxes wondering if these will work
Fox snarls as he sees a chicken run past
Fox grins mischievously as he nips his mistresses feet
Fox sneaks a mouse in to his mistresses bag this will be fun
Fox runs of and comes back with a big grin on his face guess what i did
Fox hides a chicken you didn't see that
Fox snarls and jumps around impatiently when do we play ?
Im sorry i know most are already used but im on a roll and your comments make me feel good so im back for moar

Thanks for such a great addon, it really adds more personality to my pet!
Don't know if this has been posted yet but many of the spirit beast emotes seems pretty weird when you have a crab out, besides from that it's great!

Maybe make the spirit beasts' emotes more spiritual than beasty? Refer to stuff like "echoing howl" (who says crabs don't howl?), or "looking right through you", and so on.

It is possible with the editor if you use the specific name of your ghost crab to create separate emotes just for that pet. You could probably steal the ones from the crab family.

Grats Teigan

I agree they are cute and skittish creatures, but at the same time I feel they can also be stalwart and patient. Or willing to test one's patience when attempting to tame

(I'm looking at YOU, Jadefang). 7 and a half hours... wow.
But that's beside the point.
Is it possible to be patient and excitable without contradiction? Maybe I'm just mad.

Yeah exactly my thoughts aswell. With the exception of Loque they never felt like true animals to me to be honest.
(It wasn't a complaint or anything tho, just a heads up)

So...
>.>
I've been editing the wolf emotes because they don't really match my wolf, Wolf. I removed some and have been adding more. It is still a work in progress, but I figured I'd share, since I already snagged Aweena's awesome shale spider emotes.
playfully attacks the ground, startling a critter, just for the fun of it.
thinks his mistress is being too serious and grabs her pouch running away a few steps. Come on chase me!
eyes %t warily, ready for trouble.
slyly nips his mistress's tail startling her.
yawns and watches his mistress's antics. People are so silly sometimes.
pads along, keeping to his mistress's side, ready for anything.
stills, listening to something in the distance.
growls, hackles raised, as he scents something dangerous.
growls with lips curled, teeth exposed and hackles raised at %t. You better not start anything.
smells %t, relaxing slightly. You are ok. I'll let you be around my mistress.
raises his tail letting his mistress know he is in no mood to be trifled with. (note: in wolves body language a raised tail means aggression and displeasure. If this one comes up, I know I'm in trouble and better feed him now.)
My next project is to create more hyena emotes. I've had guildmates comment that my hyena seems to have fleas since all she seems to do is bite herself itch and lick blood out of her fur. >.> I'm hoping with more hyena emotes those will come up less.

One problem...we dont have tails, unless you're a draenei. So you'd have to change 'tail' to 'rump' or 'rear and put a comma inbetween. I edited for corrections and additions. :3

Yea, my hunter is a draenei.
Oh, I like some of the changes you made, I'll have to fix those in mine.

I'm assuming you changed hackles to make it more common vocab?

yeah. I dont know what hackles are...except a form of laughter like a cackle. I've never come across the term in the wolf books I've read either.
Also I forgot an edit. I fixed it in my previous post. XD

It is just the fur on the back of an animals neck. What your edited works better. Sometimes I don't know a word I use is uncommon. >.< I blame all the reading I do.

Ah in that case I like it better with hackles then.

That's what I have it as on mine at anyrate.

I've never heard it. Read Julie's Wolf Pack which is all about a pack of wolves. It's never once mentioned. So I don't think it's as common as some of ya may think. ^^; Not everyone in WoW is a wolf fanatic and knows all the lingo.
I tested such and asked my guild if they knew what hackle on a wolf meant? None of them knew out of the 15 people that were on. I told them what I found here and they said they've never heard of it before.
