IT's so damn cold! D: I've been freezing all day. The house it as 73 right now, which that's awesome. But me, personally, I'm cold. IT's 30 degrees outside!

I think the comments in question are also incredibly distasteful and incredibly rude, but I believe they've already been reported, so hopefully this disgusting manner will be dealt with soon.

I have zero motivation to do any work and that's horrible >.> I mean it's really bad. Like it's taken me 2 days to do a simple walk cycle that should of taken less then an hour. :/

While I appreciate the arguments here, I took a good look at the discussion and I won't be deleting anything. I know this will disappoint some people. This isn't anything to do with my own feelings on the matter, or what I would have done in the same situation or anything. But this thread *does* have different rules, set down by Mania, and I'm trying to respect that. Honestly, I'd forgotten what the rules were, myself:

The Rules of Rant Thread:
  1. Don't argue. This is a thread for sharing frustrations, not for debate.
  2. Don't derail. Offering your sympathy is great, and sometimes a quick suggestion can help a lot, but that's not the primary purpose of this thread.
  3. Don't rant about people or situations on this forum. (If you need to do that, feel free to PM me. I can always listen to a good rant.)
  4. Keep the descriptions of injuries and illnesses to a graphical minimum. Some of us are eating here!
It's a painful thread for me to moderate because it leaves so many "grey areas". To give an extreme example, if I strictly adhered to the rules I'd have to let someone rant about how they hate certain races or sexualities, but I'm not going to do that. So where do I draw the line? Anyway, in this particular case it's going to be left as-is.

The rules do prohibit attacking people over their venting, but if you think it's crossed a line, please report to me.

Cheers

I have a question. What would you do if someones getting pissy with someone for replying to their rant because they don't like people replying to their rants when their rant is a reply it's self. Who's to blame there? They both are breaking the rules. I kind of think if you reply to a rant you should not get angry when someone replies to your reply (the don't debate my rant argument does not really work there). I'd assume that's some crazy grey area there

Then we have those people who post that rule yet blatantly are breaking it themselves.....

More serious rant...trying to buy a house, its not the dream house yet but could be...we offered a fair price and he refused (wants us to go up 10k) but then I see on the realestate site hes dropped to asking price...only 9k more than what we offered!! Gah! It seriously needs an overhaul, was rented out and wasnt touched since the 70's so his original asking price of 645k plus is just insane.

I'm so conflicted. Its on a big block, one suburb back from the beach but I don't want us to be financally stretched in the same year we have to pay for a wedding. At the same time its a great suburb and don't want to lose this opportunity...grrr! My fiance keeps saying its a great investment and I can see sooo much potential but do I want to eat tin spagetti util we can rent our old place out?? 0.o

Fully paid off credit cards and unlimited internet access should never, EVER mix! Every year I get carried away with gift buying and spend way too much money than I originally intend. I have zero willpower! None!

On the bright side, I did score some awesome discounts, didn't have to trouble myself with crowds/unruly holiday shoppers, and gain the fatigue that comes from running all over tarnation to find everything. But oh, how the consequences of my actions will come back full swing around bill time!

This will be fun. c:< We have people visiting our house today as house viewings, which means I want the place to be clean. Everyone's still asleep. In about fifteen minutes I'm going to start BLARING the hoover down the corridor that no one but me ever cleans and I can't wait to see their stupid grumpy faces when I've woken them up. xD Oh and if they complain about it, I'll snap for sure, and tell them if they didn't like it, maybe they should hoover more often themselves!

Go Snowy....serves them right for being so darn selfish. :D I really do sympathize with living with people that don't help you clean at all.

BAHAHA it was hilarious! Everyone looked so mad when I woke them up. But come on, it was 2 PM, you should be awaaaake! No one complained but they certainly weren't happy about it rofl. Well if they'd hoovered at least once within the last few months themselves these things wouldn't happen!!

Edit: Spoke too soon! Just heard one of them downstairs, whining about me hoovering while they slept! Shouldn't be so lazy then you cocky bastard!

Edit 2: About my previous rant. I apologise to everyone who was offended about what I wrote. I can honestly say I didn't realise people would be offended by the topic as I was just having a silly rant. I didn't intend for the topic to go the way it did whatsoever. I won't rant about that sort of stuff here again. >.<

My best friend might be getting fired from his job. He can't afford to go down to minimum wage right now...
