Berf. Had someone ask me to hold one of the nocs I posted last night. Ordinarily this is fine, but it's the one I had listed for gems, and she apparently wants to pay treasure for it. In treasure, it's like 315k and I wonder if she even realizes how much that is. Also I actually wanted the gems tbh. I'm dead out after booning the nest... blah.

I wonder if she'll back out.

Alright, 100k treasure. Halfway to getting Bar for Camelia. Oh, I DO need a wofl cape of some fashion for Valdgrim though, I should really stalk the marketplace because people pounce on those... OH! Well....Plague is headed for a shitstorm. Apparently during their raffle, someone won an egg. It hatched into a triple storm mirror and she decided to sell it(shit, I would too!). There was no rules in the raffle about not selling dragons. The two running the raffle saw the baby was a triple and was being sold and not only did they suddenly change the rules, they harassed and bullied this poor girl into giving the triple back, threatening to blacklist her and all this other shit.

OMG that's terrible Once its been gifted then that's it - it's out of there hands. Yes they are entitled to be offended if she wanted to sell it on, but in no way should this person be bullied or excluded from other events - heck, people sell gifts on Ebay all the time! Sometimes the FR community makes me want to scream - disgusting, greedy and down right mean people

Every time I check to see if the skins and accents I'm after are up the market is out of stock >.< come on market! The one time I'm after a skin you don't restock it!

this is why i never participate in raffles. Or are active on my flight forum..

I've heard mixed reports about whether or not the rule of "Don't sell your stuff" was a legit thing or not. Just putting that out there.

Yeh, so did I, until I saw a screeny of the rules - and despite loads of other crappy things like "no whining etc" it does not specifically say: "no selling on or exalting". I ran a raffle a while back with some friends just for nature peeps and we asked donators if they had specific requests - some said, no selling or exalting within 6 months or until they had babies etc. You can't expect someone to hold onto something forever, and unless you are specific, then you can't expect people to want to gift something back worth a fortune. I'm sorry, but to me it stinks of the people running the raffle feeling miffed that they let something worth a bomb go - would they have wanted a magenta/fire/jungle mirror back? errmmm bet not!

Yep. Same here. The only raffle I was in was handled pretty badly. People weren't keeping correct track of tickets, etc. Needless to say, I'll never participate in one again. Which is sad because one going on for Ice Flight has a baby I'd love to win. OH WELL.

Oh and the skin marketplace needs to re-stock already. Keep sitting here clicking every 5 minutes and NOTHING. *sigh*

EDIT: I also wish I wasn't such a stickler for eye color. The colors I want for some mates finally pop up and I just can't buy them because the eye colors just kill the look for me.

Screencap proves the rule wasn't there and there's multiple people backing that up that did participate in the raffle. I have more links.

Same. I run my hatchery, respond to a few threads and that's it, I don't get involved in much because there's always so much drama going on that I can't be arsed with.

I really like my flight but I think in the past year we've had one episode of drama and that died quick. Our in flight raffles may not always be smooth but they haven't caused any problems.

Am i the only one who feels a little meh about the accent that won?.. or and the big apparel...

Fire doesn't have drama typically. It's why I like it so much.

I don't even know if Ice often gets caught up in drama, I just haven't dared look.

A couple of the accents I'm not too pleased with. I saw at least two different accents that should have won, but then again it's more opinion than anything else.

I'm so glad lightning doesn't have much drama...or any drama at all.

On DR? Ice has had quite a it of drama, but it's spread out.
