coolz, guess I'll have to send my game over to my friends place as I still cant seem to get the wi-fi working for my DS at my home...very annoying.
been afk from the comp lately, MAJOR baby aggro...hopefully her new shellos (pink) plushy will occupy her time so i can play a bit of pokemon and wow.

As of today, the Jirachi event has begun, at the expense of the Winner's Path event. I got my lil wish granter XD

(Note: For those who don't know...Winner's Path is a special Pokewalker Course that is known for having Pokemon with moves they learn as egg moves or don't learn at all. Pokemon available are:

Magikarp with Bounce
Duskull with Imprison
Bronzor with Trick Room
Horsea with Muddy Water
Beldum with Zen Headbutt
and Munchlax with Selfdestruct)

HG update: My team is now fully evolved XD Also I caught both Entei and Raikou ^_^ Thank god Arachne (my Ariados) had Spider Web at the time. I have also caught all 26 Unown letters cuz I have no life ^_^ Atm I'm gettin my team ready for Blackthorn Gym.

My strat for catching the Beasts: Beacon (my Ampharos) was capable of outspeeding both of them, so she hit Entei with Discharge (it crit and left him at like 1 HP) Raikou was hit with a Focus Blast and Arachne hit him with Thief twice. Both Beasts were zapped with Thunder Wave so Arachne had the speed advantage. I then hunted the beasts and used Spider web when they appeared. Entei had lower HP but got away easier due to Flamethrower bein supereffective against my poor spider, Raikou was easier to deal with but had slightly more HP so he broke out more. After many attempts, Entei was caught in an Ultra Ball (it was daytime so Dusk Balls were useless) and Raikou was caught in a Quickball.

Squee for the Legendary Beasts! I actually only recently caught Entei after monthes of trying.. Yay!! So now I have my sweet little Beast Trio! Pantheris the Raikou (My fave <3 <3 <3), Quinn the Entei (Bah, I love him too <3) and Rhythym the Suicune! (Squee, I have to say I adore her too.. Gah, I adore them all! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3)

Aaanywho, I've finally gotten back to training my Eeveelution team.. Which is good, since I've been trying to train all of these guys since april. Oi!

In one of my games I have a shiny eevelution team...just need shiny umbreon/espeon and I'll be all set.

New pokémon have been released!

I gotta say, though, I'm not entirely keen on these new ones... I like the mantis-dinosaur-robot-thing, and the little green gob guy is starting to grow on me too. The mole I'm still on the fence about. Everything else... meh. Well, they might grow on me, but as for now, these guys aren't doing much for me.

The spider thing gives me hope for an Ariados evolution <3 Aaand in the sceenshot with the unidentified Pokemon.. The one of the right makes me think of a little lolita/goth girl, so I'm hoping she'll be a Ghost Type <3

Oh yeah, that one... I gotta say, I have a feeling that she'll have a really cool evolution. Maybe that's just because she reminds me of a Kirlia, and I absolutely adore the Ralts line, so... /shrug

Hmm. I wonder how those will turn out. Hopefully it won't be too cluttered, what with six animated sprites in the mix. I also hope that the weather affects will somehow be shortened...

I really like the design on the mantis-like one, and the one beside it looks interesting.

of the new-est pokemon revealed, two look to be ghost type (the sarcophagus, and that white one with the green aura) the lolita one is probably dark, the mole one and the one beside the mantis one are probably ground (or ground-dark), the mantis one is maybe a dragon? type, the spider one bug(/steel), and that blue/red stone one is probably rock. http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon.shtml new pictures added.

HG Update: Uggh....Ho-oh did NOT wanna be caught lol >_>.....but after 5-6 resets he finally succumb to the mighteousness of my Dusk Balls.

There seems to be a Wifi event comin in Japan for the 4th gen games after the Scizor event that involves the Pikachu from the Pokemon anime. No further details have been released about it.

Just a head's up cuz it may come to us non-Japanians (Japanian is totally a word....)

Also for those who play pokefarm....there are plans to add the 5th gen pokemon to the site...they are just waitin till all of them are revealed and with English names.

Okay..I've got a job now which means Money, whoo! Also means I'm going to buy one of the pokemon games. Need to ask advice from you all...should I go Platinum or Soul Silver? I know Soul Silver is new but Platinum still looks like a lot of fun. I'm going to see if I can get the other for my birthday, so I'll probably have both soon enough but I don't know which to pick first. Help me out please!

I'd say go with SoulSilver! There's a LOT more to do after you beat the main storyline than there is in Platinum. But Platinum IS really fun, to be honest.. But I'd still suggest SoulSilver~

As someone who started with SoulSilver herself I'll also put in a vote for it. I loved it!

Soulsilver FTW!!! with two regions to explore, you cant go wrong!

With my daughter becoming more aware of the world, what little free time I've had up until now is getting even more whittled away. I am enjoying being a parent, but missing all the free time I use to have to play games.
I can do my ahune/daily randoms for my frosts, and thats about it. I am lucky if I get more time. And pokemon I can only play late at night, playing until I fall asleep

hmmm interesting....Serebii has a beta picture of the 5th gen anime....the pic has the new main female character, but more importantly....4 new pokemon....2 of which appear to be evolved forms of the grass and water starters! The other new pokemon are the bat thing next to Jessie and the little...thing between Jessie and the new girl (Iris).

So, I finally decided to to screw up the whole internat/router all that and reset EVERYTHING...And after a few hours of blindly pretending I knew what I was doing, I finally got the internet back up and working and now have WI-FI!!!!!! First thing I did was the nintendo wi-fi event, now I am trying to figure out everything I can do with pokemon and my wi-fi XD yayayayayayayayayayayayayayayaaaaaaay!!!!!
