I'm still against using it after seeing my guild not even knowing the answer, not even any hunters that were on(or those with hunter alts).

I think, personally, it's best we stick to much more common words that people can understand. People know what fur is. Not everyone knows what a hackle is. That's just me cause I feel we should please the majority rather than animal lovers that may know the term. People without the addon can still see the emotes. If we want to lure them in, they should be able to decipher what the emote means.

But you put what you want. This is just my two cents of the common populace, especially on the biggest rp server(Moon Guard). Just I pray the emote comes up very rarely so I dont get 50 whispers asking what it is.

Oh, no hackles is not wolf specific. It can refer to any sort of furred animal really. It's even a common idiom used for humans at times to describe when someone's angry/irritated/etc.

I'm fine with however the emote ends up if it ends up beign used. The beauty of the addon is we have the power of the editor to go in and adjust as we want.

The editor doesnt work for some. Like me.

I have problems with the editor, but I think it's because I don't know how to use it.. doh.

Mine just wont open cause it cant find WoW.exe despite I direct it right to it.

Yeah I know. Makes me sad but still, I like most of the emotes we do have.

the only bug I've seen since the last go-round is the Wolf emote "sniffs <no target>'s hand"

Me again I noticed in some areas (core hound and wolf especially) that "tongue(s)" is misspelt "tounge(s)"
Minor detail, easily overlooked. But I have had a few people /facepalming me for it

Also: [Sporebat] drapes himself/herself over his/her master's/mistress' head and relaxes.
Never actually owned a sporebat but this sounded cute

That gives me an idea for a sporebat emote!

Sporebat spreads him/herself over his/her master's/mistress's head, shielding him/her from the elements.

Has anyone else had a problem with PetEmote not working at all? I don't think mine's worked since the 4.0.1 patch and I haven't been able to figure out why. =/

Do you have the most recent version?
Also, command has been changed to /pe
Only other thing I can think of is you have some sort of chat add-on that is filtering it.

I don't use any chat addons, unless spartanui does something to mess with it. I've been to the website itself and downloaded the addon several times. And yes, I know the command changed, I'll try it again in case I was typing it wrong, but I haven't even gotten random emotes even though I thought they were on by default.

Edit: I either was typing in the command wrong or just using pets that don't seem to have emotes written for them. /sigh
I fail. >_<
