Sookie wrote:All the requests for NE cat models are really not that far fetched when you consider we already have the druid flight form as a tamable bird. If the armor & markings were removed it would just look like a pretty cat anyway.
Personally I'd like to see Worgen cat & bear forms, but any would be nice (though I don't know if Troll should be included - it's too obviously a shifted humanoid). My heart skipped a beat when I saw the worgen bears out in the wild but I knew it was too good to be true
I'll be happy either way though because I can't wait to get my hands on that pure white saber cat!

we also have NE bear form as tameable pet

No, not really. It's the same skeleton and animations, but not the same model. The biggest difference is in the paws; pet bears have some sort of furry webbed feet going on.

Mustn't forget that the skin looks nearly identical to the night elf bear form's as well.

Please make the Corpse Scarab small again. :c I think I speak for a lot of Petopians when I say it is missed.

Phoenix family consisting of the Burning Crusade Phoenix and Fire Hawk models. Check out my post for my suggestions.

I've enjoyed the new pet additions since the XP. The dev's seem to 'get' that the pets are more than just pixels to someone who enjoys playing the Hunter class.
I'd love to see a Flayer as a pet - Most are listed as Humanoid, but the ones in Shadowmoon Valley are Beasts. This is the mob that walks upright, with claws, not the other 'flayer' types that are listed in wowhead.

Hmm, I thought I caught all the ones that were mistakenly labelled as beasts (as half of the ones in Deepholm were in the beta). Noah fixed all those, so I suspect the SMV ones will be humanoids soon too

Here's a few things that I'd like to point out and request;
Florawing Hive Queen; Drop its level by one. It still hits like a mac truck, but that's where the fun is at! It's the only spikey wasp with the flourescent violet tips. I like the little one, but the spikey one is more intimidating.
Florawing Needler; Retain the green glow upon taming, and no more color changing! Four colors, four separate npcs! I love the green one with the glow, and it's a pain to use that macro and remount over and over til I get green.
Drakkari Raptor Mount; It'd be a unique raptor model, much like the wolf from Hellfire Ramparts.
Pterrordax; I've grown fond of my hatchling from archaeology, and now I hunger for one as a pet. Bat family even!
Corrrupted Bloodtalon; These raptors on the Echo Isles have an awesome red glow and transparency, kinda like a spirit beast. When tamed, it loses this, and when tamed with the macro, it has the terrifyingly useful debuff it puts on things. Obviously the latter isn't good, but neither is losing the smoke! Let it keep that "corrupted" look even through taming and death!

So, I know these guys look pretty undead and that they're a currently untamable family, but they remind me of the undead hawks. My undead hunter would die (again) to see these become tamable.
I'm also re-pledging for this sporebat skin that I found in WMV:

You must be mixing them up with the Venomtip Needlers. The Florawing ones aren't colour-changers. You can already tame them in whatever colour you like and they stay that way. The Venomtip is a colour-changer for the same four colours.

Please fix bird's animations. Their constant hovering is really... Eugh!
Noticed my Jouster companion no longer suffered from the so-called "hover-butt" animation bug after the patch and eagerly hoppped to Northrend to tame a condor! Was terribly disappointed.
(And pterrodaxes. PTERRODAXES. Would -kill- for a tamable one!)

Hi guys, only my 2nd post, I love all the incredible information in these forum's, I can't believe I never visited them before!!! I have a couple small ideas, I will precede them by saying I skimmed through this thread, it is afterall 28 pages, so hopefully I am not repeating anything!!!
I would love to see any armored Rhino, along the lines of the battle worg from Hellfire Ramparts?
This next idea is probably wishful thinking, but I have always wanted to tame a Polar Bear cub! I think it would be awesome to have a polar bear cub that would grow to normal size when attacking/defending, ala Big Red Kitty(Beastial Wrath) and would return to his cub size when in passive/rest mode!?! This could be used with many different pet models, like kittens, etc? I'd love the small non-combat pet turtle model to grow viscious and spike like Ghamoo'rah during combat and then revert back to his diminutive little size!!!

I have word back from Noah on this one already! Bird animations should already be fixed for 4.2. Hopefully when they open the 4.2 PTR (not sure when this will be) you'll be able to test and confirm it.

While I'm afraid I have no news on this one, I can say the pterrordax hatchling companion pet from archae is adorable! You might have to be satisfied with one of those for the time being.

The cubs were accidentally tameable in early WotLK. They were soon removed. There's something that feels a bit creepy about sending a baby anything in to fight and die for you. But also these creatures don't scale very well. The polar bear cub looked weird when it blew up to adult size.

Blizz:
Okay, really? Onyxian, Red, Green, Azure, Black...
Can I just have a bronze whelpling? Please? Pretty please? With cherries on top? I'd farm days and days and days for the little guy. But Kozridormu (Bronze drake mount.) gets lonely when he can't come with me to Tol Barad and I think he would like a little whelpling friend from his flight.
Also, green drake mount? Please? It makes sense, make it like WRA and have it be exalted rep reward with the folks at Hyjal?
All I'm asking and you'll have a very, very, very happy Azu on your hands. Pretty please?

AIE. Fingers crossed that they are,
adhsfsafjgnhsdh! The condor's my favourite pet and simply can't stand to bring it out of the stables in its current state. Had to evict all the birds from my stables! Hover... Hover..
And the pterrodax pet's simply adorable. Though will gladly hide in this corner over here with a rabble of various eagles and condors instead.

Linking this thread for Noah to peruse at his leisure. Once you start getting to the end of page 1 and into page 2 there's some pretty good/decent ideas in it:

I would LOVE to cast my `pretty pleases`for the daily summoned beasts in the Basin to be tamable again.
I mean....what girl in her right mind WOULDNT want an oooooozling to fight for her?
*crosses fingers*
