The silver one. :) I'm sure the black will turn up someday, though! If not in this patch, then eventually.

This is a GHOSTLY version of the unused blue gem owl!
Nice. I was hoping the blue owl would show up, and I guessed it would be Stonetalon.
Haha, yep! He's the entire reason I was hunting in Stonetalon! Very surprised he didn't turn up with the other ghostly gem owls, however.

Took a few sweeps to find the next one, but, Ffexk The Dunestalker. He is a golden silithid wasp mob (http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/silithi ... intan.html), and thank God, *isn't* inside the hive:

UnGoro appeared empty for me :(

Where's the list of unfound rares? I want to help as well, made several scouts of Un'Goro but have found nothing yet.
I think NPCscan would make my life easier, though.

Ripped from the mmodatabase: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 72#p395672

You definitely wanna do both visual/minimap sweeps along with this though, just in case ;)

I made my own list a loooooong time ago, manually adding each of the 'unused rares' from MMO to the list. It took me a couple hours. ;) I honestly don't know if there's an NPCscan list ready-made with all of them already added. Plus, the 'unfound rares' isn't guaranteed to be all of them. NPCscan isn't the be-all and end-all.

... as Quivering said, not all of them are on the list. Hard to tell when new ones are added and when some aren't!

I stumbled upon some rares... only to find out they've existed since forever (such as the Silithid "Clutchmother Zavas" in the Slithering Scar)
Now I know how the others have felt.

Edit: Some quick detective work here, names such as "Bornix the Burrower" (Silithid) and "Clattershell" (Beetle) might turn up in Un'Goro at some point! There's only so many zones a silithid can be in.

So far, the final one I've been able to find (though there's probably a blue brain bug somewhere that I'm just not finding): Bornix The Burrower, who is an orange 'Silithid Boss' model (http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/silithi ... n_red.html). He is waaaayyyy back in the hive. I'll be honest: not gonna go in after this screenshot! Hive'Regal is a horrid place to get lost in, and I have to be in bed by midnight!

Got a picture of Bornix for ya:

And my identical Krilte meeting him, of course:

It feels funny still playing an 85. I'll head over to Stonetalon to check things out there.

Thanks, EQ! I usually love bugs, but the silithid nests are just acrophobic nightmares for me. Noooooooo thank you! ;)

I didn't hear any roaring, but he wasn't walking around. I did hear the 'thump', though.

I'd much rather they give us some new skins for the devils. They need some love!

While it is a neat coloration, I think Veph's personal pet design is probably best left to her. ;)
