I could be totally wrong as well, but I thought I had read that offspring have a chance to pull from their parents' genes as well when they have kids. From the looks of the encyclopedia page, it appears as if I just read it wrong. >_<

Which means that first gens are more valuable than offspring because they're found from scavenged eggs and thus rarer.

As soon as I gather this 25K for Nef, I'll get down to pondering which will become what breeds.

It really doesn't matter if the dragon is a first gen or not. Offspring outcomes are only ever decided by the direct parents genes, not by grandparents. The only value that a first gen has, is those that are placed on them by those with the mind sets from games like dragon cave. Since Dragon flight breeding is very simple (gene wise), 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd...etc, does not matter at all.

So, for breeding purposes, each dragon acts like a 1st gen regardless of whether it is or isn't.

These babies are either going to come out really cute or really ugly.

hehe I haven't bred them since you wanted Squee to breed with Astraeus.

I was mostly just curious since the grey male I bought is ready right now to breed.

Saw this female on the AH an hour ago and rushed to build up enough treasure to buy her. She was still there once I'd made it, I'm so happy I managed to grab her!

Whoops, I was thinking that was Astraeus and Squee. xD I totally can't read worth a damn anymore it seems.

got the iridecence primary and eye spot secondary genes, figured I might as well go all out

Ah, he's a pretty handsome guy. If you'd rather breed him it's fine by me. I'm not overly picky which male Squee gets bred to.

Well either is fine by me actually Astra has another two days before he can breed Rudiger is ready right now
