Currently doing Auchindoun with Lantern buff active-

Will report when done!

Let's see, step one finding Gara being all alone. Scratch her ears. Step 2 kill the spirit of her corrupted owner and get berries, garra sniffs them. Step 3: gather stuff for effigy all over draenor (how were we supposed to know this without that searching through patch updates??) step 4: create effigy step 5: place effigy, trigger event step 6: ??? get void lantern but maybe that's not what we have to do first?

I got it when we were stuck after berry part - when I used it - nothing happened (back on earlier page I talked about it)
it is in Anguish fortress - up against hills (back part) in the tomb area (each tomb holds an item)
might be worth checking out - she also mentioned getting a buff from the offerings that are in the small chests in the burial grounds - if someone hasn't happened to grab those (which I also already grabbed at berry stage - don't remember buff though - )
there are four chests - laid up against 2 of the big stones and two small ones I think - I got 6 offering all together - sell for gold grey items - buff is interesting though

I just picked up the ashes today actually and nothing. Would be pretty crappy if the offerings played a part as so many of us already looted them.

Same exact thing happened to me, back on the berry part. Can the offerings be gotten again on same character? I'm gonna check, I scoured Anguish Fortress for goodies a couple days ago. Hope I didn't goof my chance up on this character (other hunter has like no flight paths -_-)

I was all over anguish fortress today, I don't think horde can loot stuff in anguish.

If its what I remember, it was like a hidden treasure type thing.

you can probably get a rylak and slow fall down, i heard there was also some backdoor place but idk where.

You can drop into Anguish by going up to Moonwillow Peak and following a path around the back.

if you guys think Glass has relevancy - glass = water? - I'm starting to scour the coastline of Shadowmoon right now - anyone up for hitting the lakes/ponds -

gj toothy - that was my next stop - I can't shake the feeling what needs to be done is in that area - portal there is sooooo grrrrr /beckon

anyone have a garrison mission there yet and know if it is part of the missions there? - you have the graves and incense and books I think - probably part of mission - and there are some quest mobs - no idea about portal but it is green text like those other items - blah

we might actually have ourselves a genuine rooster block here....

what ever we could data mine to help is probably done now - other than scouring the files for quest text to look up every case of Gara and xan being mentioned/referenced. Wish I knew how to data mine wow - I'd be on that tip.


Also - back door for Horde - you go to that little alli place by burial grounds - and go up to that moonwillow or whatever place - with the oracle stone - in the back there is a path down into Anguish - - it actually comes right down into the tomb area - and of course you could fall/glide there from the lantern area

Can't find those ashes, is it like an item that has a chance to spawn and so you just have to wait for it?

little entrance like area from ocean at the coliseum of light - like an alcove - had my hopes up - only thing that has stuck out so far


in the tomb area - you walk into the tombs (rooms) and there are spots for where the dead go - look in each of the "slots" - there were items in every tomb in one of the slots -

I got them on my horde toon but I am just starting Gara and like no flightpaths so this will be a while..

I also just found out you just have the Shadowberry in your inventory to get the next part, not the actual buff.

iirc, aren't destroying those portals part of the daily apexis quest? I've only gotten it once, so I'm not postive. That may be why they're green, but you can't interact with them.

I got into the fortress from Moonwillow, going back to check it again, because otherwise, I'm stumped.

How long it take you guys to find it? I looted some chests and a horn but no ashes.
