Any hints for us, Wain?

Found Bulvinkel! Not sure if the hunter who helped wanted me to say his name so ill just leave him as anonymous. He is in the lower right corner of stormheim. I had to go to the side of the "Halls of Valor" and scale the mountain.

Yes he was but he was not marked on the map with the star. I do not know his spawn timer.

How long ago did you tame him?

I tamed him about 15 min ago

K, I'm currently camping him.

I found him about 15 mins ago in this exact location. But I have no idea how to get up to where he was (or where you seem to be in that pic XD). I managed to target, attack, and lure him down into range at village hut right beneath that cliff face. I was able to tame him at that point.

Still trying to master the climbing part of it XD

Might be on different realms? I'm on Beta Realm 01, and when I was over there, there wasn't another person in the area.

Woo congrats!!! So glad someone found our mystery new spirit beast You can get to him off the side of the stairs up to Halls of Valor. Follow the path in the grassy area up to the top of the ridge, then over. I found it was useful to have the kite (I guess the eagle feathers would do) to glide over the areas below and circle about looking for him.

Does he spawn in different locations? I have been in the spot shown on the map for over an hour and a half, right above the Vrykul village, and I have yet to see him :/

As far as I can tell, the dark colour has been removed from the eponymous Mana Sabers that spawn in the Moon Guard Stronghold area. Every one I saw was standard purple now. This was the only tameable NPC I knew that had this colour, as last I checked Myonix was still untameable.

I guess it could still be used, but a rare colour variant, or maybe it's been given to a different mob. Has anyone seen it? :/

Wow that's a bummer :C literally was my favorite color! Hopefully it will be a rare somewhere..

Just something to watch out for (bug wise). I found that the Meredil Lockjaws in Suramar were tameable as crocolisks (all good) but that they were also flagged as Exotic (?!). It was obviously a small mistake during their creation, but it's something to report if you notice it anywhere else

Is he scaling level or set level?

My gnome hunter, Didink, is Lvl 104. When he spawned after a few hours of camping, he was Lvl 103. I did see a NE hunter whom said she tamed Bulvinkel much earlier. She was Lvl 100. So yes, I believe he scales

Sweet! And I like a short spawn timer. 4 hours is doable.

That it is. Far better than others, like Loque.

Are we sure they haven't shortened spawn timers just for the testing purposes?
