I've been farming this mount on two toons. My reasoning was if my main couldn't get it, I wanted someone to have it. My main still doesn't have it, but at least someone does.
Here is Dewclaw's tiger.

Was updating my pally's gear, so I flew out to the Sons of Hodir (on Kalli) to grab a shoulder enchant....and realized that I hadn't bought the regular ice mammoth yet. BAM, mount #100! And I have to say the blue dragonhawk looks FANTASTIC.

I spent 10 hours today on the current emergency contract and got a decent chunk of work done.

My computer came and.. I'm amazed. o.o At minimum settings in Dalaran my framerate was 66... Wonder what would happen if I set it to ultra?
Framerate 25. Never thought it would be this awesome! <3 Now I can actually react to surprising events and do more stuff in heroics. And MAN, Northrend is beautiful! <3

Well, I had a pretty awesome day today. ^^
So, to give some back story, a few weeks ago I got into an ICC 10 pug. My first time in there, and we cleared the first 4 bosses that day. The person who started that group said he made them every Sunday. I've been trying to get back into them since, but I've been very busy on the weekends lately. Anyways, today I saw him log in and thought I'd inquire if he'd be putting together a raid. Turns out he was doing a guild run of ICC, but then told me there might be one dps spot. Sure enough I got an invite.
I was a little nervous being in an all guildie run except for myself, but needless to say they were all amazing friendly people. I was pleasantly surprised that no one ever commented on my spec or my Devilsaur (Skorn's hard to miss). In fact, they loved him! We downed the first 4 bosses and I thanked them profusely for having me, and then said that I had never been any further and didn't know the next fights so I'd happily leave so they could replace me. Well, they demanded that I stay. I was shocked to learn that not only was my DPS viable, I was leading the charts. (take that BM haters

)
We continued on and downed Festergut and some of the minibosses before calling it a day. I got Precious's Putrid Collar and enough Frost Badges to buy my tier chestpiece (giving me a 4 set now).
Anyways, they were a fantastic group of people and I'm pleased to know I'm welcome to run with them again. So hopefully next Sunday I'll be grouping up for another run.

I have AS3 dribbling out my ears.
But hey, we only have a few more days of this crunch!
... and then we take a day off and do it again. *sigh*

Well, Oh My Kurenai achievement - Kurenai exalted, which means 8 new mounts, which means 72/100 mounts. It also means my favourite new tabard...Speaking of tabards i'm on 15/25 tabards now!
Also got the Horde flames yesterday, which is all I needed left the the Flame Warden title. Now i'm only 4 events away til purple proto (Merrymaker, Honoring the Elders, Noble Gardening and For the Children). Good thing i'm only one or two achievements away for all for of those events (Well, the Elder events has a ton of work to do, but if I buckle down and work hard it should be out of the way fairly fast).

Last week my orc hunter got the tiger, and just now I looted the raven lord for my druid. I'm on a roll.
Good thing too, because I am soooo sick of that dungeon, lol. I never have to go back!

For the Alliance! Finally got into a raid that could actually do Sylvanas! (I had got into atleast three or four raids that just fell apart while fighting her) as well as Cairne, which was the first time a raid managed to get to him (One raid got into Thunderbluff and we got lost...We were slowly picked off one by one).
Also in that raid we charged the main lift and a shaman ran down, Thunderstorm, pretty much everyone in the raid got one shotted but it made an awesome curved line of Alliance bodies!..
But I finally got my bear, and am currently at 73/100 mounts!

Check out what I learned today!
Code: Select all
$skills = $db->fetchAll("SELECT *,
CASE WHEN families.tree_key IS NULL
THEN 'zzz'
ELSE families.tree_key
END as tree_sort
FROM abilities
LEFT JOIN trees
ON trees.talent_key = abilities.ability_key
LEFT JOIN families
ON families.skill_key = abilities.ability_key
WHERE trees.tree_key IS NULL
ORDER BY tree_sort, abilities.ability_name");
(Ironically, this didn't do exactly what I wanted it to -- damn you, Prowl! -- so I ended up making an xref table instead.)

Beyond me!
I tanked Heroic Forge of Souls on Mazz, as a newly talented/glyphed frost dual wield tank. I was sure my gear was too low, but we got through it just fine. I was rather happy. Plus I won the 22 slot bag, muahaha.

Ryno, I'm pretty sure that code is for making a spreadsheet of pet-abilities. Also, gratz on DW-tanking! I suck at that, personally. :P

The outside function call is PHP. The innards are SQL. This query was getting a list of pet abilities that are not associated with a talent tree (in other words, pet skills and not pet talents), sorted by the talent tree of the family that has that skill (or 'zzz' if it's not a family skill, so that those would sort last). I was trying to be smarter about how I pre-generate the skill pages.

And today I learned about unitless line-heights in CSS! Doesn't my life sound fun?
