I have a tendency to injure myself at work... cuts, bruises, burns, kitchens are dangerous places man! Today I managed to scratch my finger on something while breaking down the kitchen after we closed, and for being such a tiny mark it's one of the more painful work related cuts I've gotten. I swear when I first got it I nearly thought I had broken my finger because I had hit it pretty hard. Then I saw this tiny bleeding cut and was like "Oh, okay, not so bad"...

But hours later, even though it's long stopped bleeding, the skin around it is still red and it's throbbing, and if I brush it against anything it stings. Plus, that finger feels kinda numb (except of course for the cut). Like, augh D:

Even if you don't name names, if it's obvious you mean people here and it's obvious to those people who they are, then it's still a personal attack and doesn't belong here. Please don't do that. I have a hard enough time working out what is ok on this thread at the best of times... usually I just let it run as it is.

I did not think it was obvious because the people don't follow me on Tumblr back nor do they hardly if at all acknowledge me on it. *shrug* I'd be surprised if they even knew I followed them at all.

I wont do it again but I'm also pretty sure you are not meant to reply to rants also so next time do it in a PM.

I just get SO DAMNED NERVOUS when I'm on the phone. And you can't just walk in either you have to have a chat on the phone first and see what they say but I'm nervoussss D:

I feel so bad for an RP friend. He lives in the Dominica Islands where there isn't many Vets and no Poison Control. He recently had to put his dog down and just last night...another dog of his got poisoned and died over a period of an hour....a very long and painful death. God, I wanted to hug him and hold him tight. Even if there was a Vet open at 1am, most people in the Dominica Islands can't afford vet bills.

Jesus...what do they poison for? So sorry to hear that Animals are like family.

That awkward moment I have to hide the fact I'm pagan from my fiance's step father-in-law....cause he's a hardcore christian and doesn't respect other peoples beliefs. I want to make an Ostara altar this year but....I'm having to hide away if I want to do it. :< Either lock myself in my room or just not do it at all this year....again. Everyone BUT him in this house respects I'm Pagan and wouldn't mind me doing what I do. It's only him that will freak the fuck out if he sees it.

@Castile - I don't know. He thinks someone is purposely poisoning animals cause his dogs aren't the first victims.

I feel for you on that one. for the longest time I wasn't "allowed" to exhibit aspects of my beliefs because of my mother in law. (She had flipped out previously because I kept crystals out in the house).

You don't have any out-of-the-way place you could put it that he wouldn't see? Or if that's not possible, any place where you can just put a small one and have it pass off as a simple decoration?

My mother in law suggested my bedroom cause that's technically my space and she said she'd handle him. She doesn't want me to feel oppressed. And yeah it does hurt...despite I despise him for far more reasons.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. It's unfortunate that he's not willing to accept the fact that you have a different religion than him, but it doesn't seem like there's much to do to change his mind on the matter. :c

That was one thing my girlfriend was scared of when we first got together she is wiccan and wasn't sure how I would react I told her baby I love you no matter what you are it doesn't matter if you are wiccan you are first and foremost my girlfriend.

That moment when YET ANOTHER beware gets posted against a known scammer/art thief and you realize this person gets more money for one drawing, that they either never do, or they just trace photos they steal from others, then you make in a year.
At least they're perma banned from some of the bigger art sites.
