Some of the people I seem to stumble into when inquiring about dragons... OMG. I think my brain hurts right now.

I sent a simple inquiry about a dragon that was just hatched, merely inquiring if it was for sale and if so that I'd be interested in purchasing it.

I get this as a reply: "She is for sale but i have a Pinglist i could put you on for further hatchlings like this ^-^ im still trying to come up with axreasonable price"

Uh.... what???

So I reply back with a very nice offer for her and get this in reply: "Like i said, i have a list you could be put on. And i have to decide on a price that is reasonable considering i had to put Vipera on both the parents and will have to put Facet on them too."

Ok, so the person put vipera on both the parents. Whoopie? I'm sorry, but it's a bit daft to expect to make that back on a hatchling. I mean... seriously? In today's market? GOOD LUCK!

So I reply back asking if that hatchling is or isn't for sale. I'm looking for a mate for one of my current dragons right away. The answer I get: 'Alright. Sorry'

WTF...... Thank the light I have another person to inquire to who hatched the same colors. Wow. Just WOW. I have a real knack for finding the real winners on this site. I swear.

I've been meaning to think up a symbol or crest for my clan for the longest time but ugh... I don't have an artistic bone in my body, not to mention the fact that I need to think one up in the first place :/

I was really hoping Wind would get at least higher than third in the dom battle but unless we were being matched dragon-for-dragon so that the standings between Earth, Water and Wind stayed the same Wind got to third and was like, "OKAY WE HAVE DOM GG EVERYONE" and stopped. Seriously other Windies must be rich out of their minds or something. I, on the other hand, desperately need a lair expansion and a scroll or two. +375 treasure and a single gathering turn per day is not going to help that.

I enjoy being in Wind. It suits me and I love the eye colour. Plus several of my pairs suit Wind eyes. But I'm seriously considering a Flight change just so I can save some treasure now and then.

Ugh Auctions. In my personal opinion, all auctions should end no matter what their end date is if one person has held a bid for more than 24 hours. But I guess that's just me. *shrug*

EDIT: Side rant - Why is it SO freaking hard to find an unrelated obs/crim/white imp female to go with my Tyren? Or the people I'm finding that have one aren't selling for whatever reason. I'm about ready to give up on this pairing and just keep Tyren as a non-mated dragon in my lair. I ended up finding a white/crimson/white girl for now. We'll see how she works out.

Seriously they have five kids from two different nestings and not one of them has a name...

The one I was working on was 975k, but Tarn was kind enough to send me a little over that Thank you though My next one is 1075k

That's why I name my hatchlings before I sell them, at least when it comes to my favorite pairs. If people like the dragon enough and have a different name in mind they'll buy the renaming scroll.

Yeah, I'm working towards the 245kish for my next expansion. I'd be tempted to clear out the lair but a lot of my guys and gals are gifts from Petopians or adopted from Petopians and I have the memory of a ferret on speed so I'd feel awful exalting a dragon that might've been beloved.

I asked for a slot for an accent I really wanted.. There was only one slot left when I posted. But the artist skipped over my post even though I pinged them and gave the slot to someone who posted after me. Now the slots are closed and the accent is retired....

I'm sure they didn't mean to do it but it's not really fair. I pinged them again to bring it to their attention and I asked if they had any copies left that I could buy but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

They replied to my second post saying they were sorry and that they'd do another rerelease in the future. At least it isn't permanently retired but it still bums me out that I was skipped over and I have to wait ><

And.... what? They couldn't put you on the current list and have the person they added in your place wait for the re-release?? :/

Yeah I know :/ but I'm not going to make a big deal of it, not worth the trouble especially since the person who got my slot already sent in their payment.

Anyone else see the dramarising post about Plume/Dorufuu? Apparently some (if not all) of that persons accents and skins might be pulled for copy violations. I just sent that person an in game mail on 7/2 about a payment I made that they never ordered. I asked about a refund. Looks like I won't be getting that unless I put in a ticket now. Just a heads up. You might want to take a look and see if you have any accents of theirs. Oi.

EDIT: Looks like they were banned. So buyer beware of any accents on the AH by them. At least one WC accent in the Captive series seems to have been pulled already. I plan to send in a ticket for my gem loss. I know the admins don’t typically intervene in player purchase disputes but since this player can’t fulfill their accent orders or refund them at all, since they’re banned now, maybe I'll have some luck with that.

Well, pooh. I do have one lone Plume accent - it was one from Greenskeeper, so hopefully that one will get to stay. I'll hate it if not, but I guess I'll just have to see if I can find a different accent that's lovely and subtle enough for Mikhail the Wildclaw if it does get pulled.

I don't see why the admins would pull the other accents they already published. As far as I'm aware there aren't any copyright issues with those. This whole debacle I would guess is due to one of their personal accents solely for a wildclaw of theirs. It had the same design as the other species in their "captive" series, the difference being it had a copy-pasted Gilded Crown...

They don't actually own a gilded crown, it's all part of the accent.

I have a couple of their accents but now I wish I grabbed more - if the people who bought them get to keep them I see a good opportunity for profit lol. I really hope those who paid and never received their accents though get refunds.. it isn't fair that they loose gems due to this person's idiocy.

Let's not forget though that this is partly the FR staff's fault for accepting that accent in the first place.
