((The continuation.))

Dear Journal,

Last time I left you, we were going up the tower, right? Immediately, I could tell something was up with him. Call it instinct. The coward summoned this huge undead thing, and fled. Sparky and I had it handled though.

We returned to the Bravo Company, and Mr. Troteman dropped down in thus huge tank thing! Keeshan manned shot gun, and I was driving. It was amazing! Best moment of my life! All these orcs coming, Keeshan screaming his head off, gunning the dragons down while I was squishing orcs with little -squish squish- sounds! It was really, really, really cool. You just have to -see- the destruction.

The Bravo Company and I went up to Stonewatch to finish this, once and for all. Even if I wasn't a true member of the Bravo Company, I felt proud to be fighting with them. They were great company to chat to with, as well. While we rested for the final confrontation, we talked about all sorts of nifty things.

And then, disaster. Troteman was shouting, but chaos came upon us. We had to run, but I couldn't tell what he was saying.

Darkblaze came upon us.

We fought him, and we had him, we had him! But the coward scorched the Bravo Company to oblivion, and picked up Keeshan. He flew to the lake in a suicide attempt, taking Keeshan with him. I ran back to Troteman, hoping for good news. They could save him, couldn't they? Couldn't they?

They couldn't.

I'm the last member of the Bravo Company, now. Guess they did like me, the rookie, after all...

And, more bad news, journal...During the fight, Sparky...poor Sparky, was roasted to death. He took the flames meant to kill me. He'll never meet that cute little spider he liked ever again. It's all my fault. What did I do to deserve this? As I hearthed, a small fox ran up to me. She looked injured, and I decided to help her. After all, Sparky would want me to move on...

Rest well, Sparky and the Bravo Company...You all fought bravely. They found Keeshan's bow and bandana. I'll wear the bandana, and the bow...I'll keep it with me. To remember. I'll...keep fighting for them. And the Black Dragonflight will pay. For everything.

Dear Journal,

I had the weirdest dream ever last night.

I wasn't even -really- me. I was like some sort of cat thing, sort of like a druid, but not quite. I was trapped in a cellar with a large wasp bug thing and a huge dragon. There was a loud, painful buzzing, and voices were screaming in my head. Everything hurt. The dragon told me to run, but I couldn't. I don't know why, but I wasn't going to leave that dragon -Carrion- behind. But the bug called for help, and we had to leave. I couldn't do anything. Anything at all. I left him, and despite not knowing who he was, I felt a great sorrow for that poor dragon. There was a scream of mourning, I think from the dream-cat-me, and...

...Then nothing. I woke up crying, and Shadwyn rested her head on my leg, trying to comfort me.

I'm going to stop writing for now, journal...We're on the move soon, and I should rest up.

((Aw, Redridge. I hated this ending, and it was a brilliant point to make a reference. :D))

ARrrgh, this one was so sad...
I never actually finished the Bravo Company quest line. That's really depressing though.
And poor Sparky! :-(
Also, now I want to re-read the Carrion Death scene and... probably cry. >.> That was an epic scene.

Yeah, I thought after Keeshan, it'd be a great parallel there. And poor Sparky. I need to properly introduce Shadwyn next post, have an idea how to do it. I honestly didn't think of how to get rid of Sparky until I did. It was slapdash. I write everything on the spot as I do the quests, and I had a lot to fit in that one little bit, so I took advantage of my survival and said Sparky sacrificed himself, which makes more sense, cause that's what Sparky did in the RP.

I need more TotH references. >.>;

It's been a while. I suppose I should tell you the new member of the family.

Her name is Shadwyn. I told you a bit about her. A fox from Redridge. After Sparky died, she came to me, looking like she was injured. So I helped her back, and she's real grateful and helpful. So Shadwyn and I went to say good-bye to Ghost...

And Ghost snapped and tried to hurt Shadwyn! Rust and Ironskull watched her carefully, not doing anything. I think Phantom was laughing. I moved in to save Shadwyn, shoving Ghost out of the way. She looked hurt. Well, whose fault is that, Ghost? You're the one that left me, got a family, and left me on my own! And now you get upset when I have a new companion!

Stupid, stupid, stupid wolf.

---

Dear Journal,

I'm the stupid one.

---

Dear Journal,

Unable to sit and feel miserable, Shadwyn and I moved on to our next destination. After we got our report, Zerak took us to Duskwood. The people there didn't seem enthused, but whatever. I'm not letting it get to me. We were sent to kill some wolves, and collect...Dusky lumps for Dusky crab cakes. Bad news, journal. There's no -crabs- in Duskwood, meaning they found creative replacements...

Spiders! Ew! Ew! Ew!

Anyways, Shadwyn and I went about our task well enough. When a spider tried to web me, Shadwyn took it and tore the little webbing apart and then cleanly killed the spider. The wolves were loud, and pretty big, but they weren't so bad. The spiders were supposed to be venomous, but Shad and I kept away from the mouth. Shot them before they could bite. While we were exploring, we saw these wolf-men fighting each other over a poor wolf's corpse.

Once I collected plenty of...lumps, ew...we returned for another set of tasks. We turned in the meat and lumps, and got kabobs and meat cakes in return. I dumped the cakes (When he wasn't looking!), but the wolf kabobs were delicious. We were next assigned to check for life in the tower at Beggar's Haunt, kill some undead, and get a shiny thing from someone named Mary.

The hermit, named Abercrombie, wanted me to get some hair from a ghost. Back we were to Darkshire. Lazy old man. Of course, Mrs. Eva didn't have ghost hair, so we had to ask Mary for her hair. Since we were up for her mirror anyways, I was fine with that.

Handily, the rotting corpses were in the area as well. We talked to Mary, who told me her mirror was stole by a ghoul. An insane one.

Off we were to kill him! He definitely was insane, kind of freaked me out. Shadwyn didn't care, so she kept merrily gnawing his arms. We delievered the Ghost Hair and the Looking Glass, but both guys wanted more things out of us. I'm a hero, not a delivery lady. Argh.

A man named Tobias wanted me to speak to some clerks to find out about his brother, Stalvan. Apparently, Stalvan is dead. So, we were off to do that, but there was something off about Tobias. Shadwyn said he smelled like dog. We were sent to collect Rot Blossoms as well, and deal with some worgen...

I wonder if these people ever looked at a map. Brightwood Grove? Tranquil Garden Cemetary? Something happened here, makes me nervous. I don't like it here, but if anyone needs me help, probably these people, always trapped in the dark...

Hurray Duskwood and all its spider killing nastiness.

Poor Sol and her confusion to Ghost turning on her. :( I know Roxíe would be upset if one of her pets hated her.

I look forward to more! :D

I didn't like the exploding bugs quest, it made me sad. My bf was napping on the bed and I start saying out loud (as I'm piloting the beetle) "But I don't wanna kill the buggies" (what makes that better is that my nose is stuff up so I sound funny too XD). My bf hears me saying something, wakes up, and says "What are you saying?" So I explain the quest to him and repeat "But I don't wanna kill the buggies."

So he stands up and says, "You'll kill the buggies and you'll like it." Then promptly plops into his computer chair and goes to doing whatever it is he was doing.

Normally killing buggies wouldn't bother me and I'd find that quest fun. But Roxíe likes animals and I had been admiring how neat the teal beetles look with the red design on their back, and then I felt bad for commandeering one to its doom.

((Mrf. Long time, no post. I hate the new Duskwood. Just as boring as the old one. Anyways, here we go.))

Dear Journal,

It's been a long time since I wrote something. I was busy resting. There was an undead attack recently on Darkshire, and Shadwyn and I were involved. I got injured, so we were recuperating. But we're back to normal, now, no plague, so let's do this!

We were sent, after our heroic fighting, to collect flowers. How. Heroic. We gathered the flowers and returned to Mr. Smitts, who made his famous zombie juice. "It's strong enough to raise the dead!" He declared. While we were delievering, we came across a small beaten path. Following it, we came to a small grove, where a solider was bending down. I thought he was Alliance, when I realized he was dead, yet moving.

Shadwyn and I put his spirit to rest. A loyal member of the Alliance deserves that much.

I didn't even know his name, the grave provided nothing for a clue. After we put him to rest, we dropped off the zombie juice, then went off to take care of the worgen infestation. The worgens weren't that tough to kill, at least, so we were done quickly. Shad and I both were scratched up, but luckily not bitten. We'll be fine.

We off to take care of the ogre problem. They were fat, ugly, blubbery and smelly, but they're also easy to take out. They seem to have some form of communication, too. One of them wailed as I killed it, "Badland brothers killed hunter too!" It took me a minute to realize a hunter had taken out Badland ogres, not the other way around. I'll have to visit Badlands when I'm stronger. I heard there was a massive number of black dragons, and even though a mercenary company called the Bad Dogs (The Bravo Company is infinitely better!) there's bound to be more. Even if they're Horde, anyone who kills the Black Dragonflight is a friend of mine.

We had to collect Corpseweed. This, of course, meant the plants were alive and moving!

We went to the dirt mound, but were attacked by a worgen who sent me sprawling, then darted away. Odd. As if getting pounced was enough, we were send to kill more worgen and collect a journal. We were attacked by a fair amount, by Shad and I killed 'em and still aren't bitten, so we're doing something right.

The Pack Leader was furious at us killing his wolves, so he decided he was going to fight us. Shadwyn crippled him and brought him down, and arrows did the rest. No more pack leader. I figure some Beta will step up, but until then, that should throw them off. More worgen dead later, we returned to Darkshire. After returning triumphant, we rested a bit, then were off once more to take care of even more worgen, ghouls, and whatnot.

((To be continued. DOOM. Next post.))

((*sigh.* The continuation. I don't like Duskwood.))

Dear Journal,

Once we took care of the local ghoul population and stole their ribs, it turns out Mr. Abercrombie made a huge undead beast thing. He was lighting Darkshire on fire, but Shadwyn and I came to the rescue and helped put out the fire. After that, we got to kill--go on, guess. Guess! Did you guess worgen? No?

We had to kill worgen! Yay! Bloody yay!

...I hate worgen.

We took care of the worgen, killed a Den Mother, and returned to Darkshire. Mr. Calor, who wanted me to kill worgen, said I was pretty awesome. Not his exact words, but whatever. I also completed the legend of Mistmantle. He was a very scary, bitter man. Love twisted him, made him a mockery of himself. It's creepy. I'll have to make sure to just stick with my pets. They don't betray me like people do.

Except Her.

The rest of the page is blank, but it picks up again in a page or two. Whatever upset the author so seems gone.

I think Duskwood is getting to my head. I want out.

I went to confront Stalvan with Tobias, and it turns out Tobias is a worgen himself! After he killed his brother, he fled into the woods. Families are so weird. He thought he was a monster, but I didn't think he was -that- bad. Pretty nice guy.

I visited Sentinel Hill to find they were still struggling with the attack, but I did visit Scylla for old times sake.

It was a pretty decent change of pace, but I had to go once more. Back to Duskwood, where I met some more worgen. They were friendly for once, and they wanted me to soothe some spirits and capture a lurk-y worgen. When we captured him, they administered a potion thing that freed his mind! He was upset that Jitters made him a worgen though, but he resisted the urge to kill him.

Mr. Sven told us to go and take care of Morbent Fel, supposedly dead. We took his hat and were ambushed by this undead named Mor'ladim. Dad's journal said he was once extremely powerful, bane of many, but years of rot have made him weak. Shad and I took him out easily enough. We killed some spiders, collecting their venom sacs. Through some weird spider magic, they vanished on death, but reappear a few seconds later.

Then, we had to find Morbent Fel, the Lich. And it wouldn't be complete without a ghoul killing excursion, so we took care of a bunch of ghouls, on the side. We killed ghouls, and were sent to collect artifact pieces. We did so without much struggle, and were slinking through the tunnels to find Fel.

Morbent's Bane weakened Morbent, so he was easy to destroy. The undead that appeared fell over, dead. Shadwyn and I merrily went out to finish our undead massacre. We collected bear brains, too! Once done, we flew to Darkshire to rest.

((Continued, again.))

((The final continuation of the Duskwood Saga. Ha!))

Dear Journal,

They came at night.

Undead. A lot of them. Swept through the town. Shadwyn and I helped the defenses, and by morning's light, the undead were dead. But Shadwyn was gone. No one could find her, whether the undead took her or if she's alive or dead. I...I have to go to Stranglethorn, so I told the stablemaster, Mr. Black, to please look for her. The Night Watch, and Mr. Black, were happy to do so, after all we had done for them.

On my way to Stranglethorn, I came across this owl. He was just sitting in the middle of the road, looking smug. As I steered Zerak around it, the bird turned towards me and gave a horrible hoot. It flapped into the air, and then perched on my shoulder. A name for him was immediate, as if something whispered it to me.

Darkrai. The bird makes me nervous. Something about the way he moves, looks, the way he attacks his prey. I sometimes go check the corpses, and there's absolute look of horror frozen on their face. That bird is...weird. Either way, he seems willing enough to protect me, so we went off to the Rebel Camp.
