Got one of these on my Nelf and..... oh my golly, I am in love. I'm not even a bug person, but Lark's Thor is now one of my favorites (and the favorite of several friends! ).

I think the size helps, since he's too tiny to really see his "bug" features so he doesn't creep me out. XD

I jusmped on the bandwagon today and with the help of a random aquantince and thier friend who where waiting arounf for the rest of thier BoT group to log on, came and helped me tame my lil Cromwell. I was then invited to join thier BoT group for the run, and we managed to down the first boss, and made a good attempt at the two dragons. Though it was getting late for most of the people and we reluctantly called it quites. But I was laughing so much at this lit tiny beetle running up to this huge dragon.

Thanks so much for this post, I had no idea he even existed. Once I saw him, I had to go tame ... I haven't been so excited about a pet in a bit. And I sure have a lot of them. I did the tame solo, died a couple times but it was worth it. Named him TeenyTiny. I have a feeling one day I'll wake up and find him normal size beetle but for now I am so enjoying him. Thank you for sharing the find with the rest of us!

I went and tamed one myself, I named it GIGANTOR (yes, in caps lol).

Here's hoping Blizz doesn't nerf the lil guy somehow.

Yeeey! I just got one myself! Named him Ginormous! He's so cuuute! ;D

Just confirming that as of April 14th 2011, this is still able to be tamed! Thanks for figuring this out, it's soooo cute. xD

I've had so many people comment on my little Cromwell. A few times I've been asked where my pet is, people seem to think its just a vanity pet. lol, then he goes off and tanks stuff.
It will be a sad day if/when they "fix" it. (hopefully they dont)

I have people target my pet to try and kill it for Critter kill squad achivement, a good buddy of mine took one look at Bomani and exclaimed "Cockroach??"

i want the beetle but my only hunter even remotely able to attempt Naxx (and is the only one lvl 80+) is Xakaal and i dun really want it on her.. i was thinking more my undead Paudette but shes lvl 73 (shes close at least!)

Strange, I tried to name a beetle Volkswagon and it said the name was reserved. I went with VW instead.

i have been requesting for my hydra for a couple days to no avail, last employee i contacted took a look throught my stables and saw the little beetle... he asked me how i got it and.. i kinda told him... so once more

I don't know what they're going to do with it at this point, but it's likely it will remain tameable and keep its streaky effect, but the size may change. But that's unofficial and subject to change.

I just got him for me, a friend and a guildie. Before I didn't like using beetles but this little one is just irresistible. I named him Hercules, after the hercules beetles and well... the name fits

Well, if it "grows up" to regular size, I guess the good news is I'll have a stable slot open?

<Idealistic History> just finished our midnight taming run for all our hunters at a high enough level to go to Naxx in the first place. After *quite* a few tries, (aka wipes) me, Seabaston, and Patrika all got our cute little beetles!

I named mine Puck, after both the character from A Midsummer Night's Dream, and since the little black streak behind him reminds me of how American TV channels always have a streak of light following the puck in NHL games, because apparently a black puck on white ice doesn't show up too well

Seabaston named his Dendae, after the little Namek kid from Dragonball Z

Patrika hasn't thought of a name for hers yet, but can't wait to take her beetle to the battlegrounds
