Where exactly DO you look for Aeonaxx? I seem to remember something about the ring of broken pillars around the central world pillar, but everything I saw was unclear to me.

Veph, did you know it's a natural rule that you never get something while looking for it. Try casually doing some dailies or BGs around his area. That's how I got Sambas after camping for him after a couple weeks.

Mmm, the mount rares can be a little more of an exception there. They're rare enough, and sought-after enough, that they don't stay up long when they spawn.

Edit: Says the person whose TLPD spawned only after she hearthed out to get ready for bed. <.<; Thank god one of my friends was still chilling out there!

Aeonaxx doesn't despawn though as far as anyone is aware, he just stays flying around in his little circles until someone jumps on him. Which is usually -30 seconds after he's spawned.

By 'not staying up long' I meant 'someone snags.' I know Aeonaxx likely doesn't despawn.

How big is Aeonaxx? How visible?

He's huge and quite visible--he shares the same coloring as the other stone drakes in the zone. He also appears as a friendly mob with the vehicle jump in symbol when you target over him.

There's a picture of him. He's pretty easy to find, especially if you have _NPCScan running.

The Aeonaxx site has an image with visual range for each spawn spot...it's nice for deciding where to camp (and realizing god damn, he's huge).

How is the search going? I'm sending lots of Karma your way!
