Darn it, I want to have my pet out while flying, so I can go to opposite faction lowbie areas and scare everyone with my lvl 85 pets running around willy-nilly. Have Chromaggus chase gnomes everywhere, King Krush breathing down the necks of Night Elves, Nuramoc sitting on top of Humans and being a nuisance.

Actually...this is NOT live in Tol Barad. It only works in other BGs like AV or AB. I believe Wintergrasp is experiencing this bug too.

i cant wait to use this Not sure if i like the fact that my wintersrping frostsaber (Boyfriend) will still be out when i mount my winterspring mount though. Always kinda liked the thought that he was my faithful mount x) hope he dosnt get jelous xD
joking aside though i will love matching pets and showing them off now. Winterspring cub, saber, and saber mount. Or Buru and one of the AQ 40 mounts when im raiidng oldies with the guild. thank you blizz ^.^

Okay....I officially love this idea. I was not lucky enough to get to see it when it was originally in the game so glad it's back. Have seen some hunters "glitch" it somehow and was totally jealous.

Just for kicks, I did a few myself just to see it in action.

I haven't had the "unknown" name bug, still showed the correct names for me.

This should hopefully be fixed now with the new patch...

Buffs
•All class abilities which place a buff on friendly targets no longer generate any threat. This goes for raid-wide buffs like Mark of the Wild and Power Word: Fortitude, as well as triggered effects such as Blessed Resilience or Fingers of Frost, and single-target buffs like Dark Intent and Hysteria. The exception is buffs which directly cause healing or damage, such as Thorns or Renew. Abilities such as these still generate normal threat

And YAY it'll fix the pet stat bug! Man, that's been annoying lately. My pet dies instantly about 30% of the time. It's gotten me killed. >.<

OMG thank you Blizz!! I was so sad when I found out that this used to be in the game before I was playing and I'd never got to experience it. But now I get to!!!

I hope they make it possible to have winged pets ( Birds of prey, Wind serpents, chimaeras and other such pets) to be able to fly besides flying mounts, just like they did with mini-pets.
I can see it already Dragonhawk mount, Dragonhawk pet and a dragonhawk mini-pet, flying side-by-side .....

Will pets run along the ground and aggro everything while we are on flying mounts? I hated watching my pet get dazed or die. ><

Pet will despawn as soon as you leave the ground.

Oh, that's groovy then. My poor Tauren would happily flap along over a canyon, land and SPLAT - Pain train!

This just made my day.

This is probably an attempt at dealing with the issue of hunter and lock pets popping out with 6k health and getting instagibbed by mobs.

I got some cool pic I now want to take with my Dragonhawk and Hawkstrider.......^_^, this change sounds cool.
