Now I know it says these are only available to those who progress through the questing hubs, which takes a chunk of time if i am not mistaken. on live, this isnt a problem.

what I am wondering is are they going to have these available on the PTR just for testing, or still require these quests? doing those quests on live, sure no problem, but on the PTR? shudder. i haven't been on the PTR this go round and if we have to go through all those quests for weeks just to see the new beasts, then its useless for me to join now.

I was told directly that the boss spider model is intended to be intelligent like nerubians and not tameable. So I'd suspect more it's going to be one of the rare colours of regular fire spider. But maybe they changed their mind I don't know for certain.

I hope they did! If that's the case I'm assuming it will be a different color. Can't wait to see them all.

This one is quite appealing though. The one aspect of Gondria that clicked with me was how pink she looked. A white version might be rather tempting. ^^

So the damage scales based on your armor? I can't wait to see how many people try to kill her and get one-shot. XD

I'm really disappointed in what I'm seeing so far. A slightly different Olm spirit beast and a slightly different Gondria spirit beast. Sure the trick tame is interesting, but I hope the rest of the eight aren't as disappointing as this.

the armor damage is quite intresting and did anyone else but me see how much damage that bird did to that one guy trying to tame it? it almost killed him

Ooh, I'm loving how these are looking so far!

There's just one thing I'm hoping though... For them all to NOT be Spirit Beasts. ^^' I know it seems like whining when we're already getting so many awesome things (and I'm extremely thankful and happy for that mind you!), but other families, take Sporebats, Nether Rays and Devilsaurs to name a few, would really appreciate new, rare and amazing looks too.

Then again, how would you explain a Sporebat or a Nether Ray being in Mount Hyjal, no matter how cool and fiery looking it may be? *giggles*

Whatever they've planned for these guys, I can't wait to find out more about them. ^^ Having some beasts that require you to do something special to make them possible to tame sounds like an awesome idea. So far we have one that does way more damage if you have armor on and another that appears to deal HUGE damage unless you trap it, the other six will be so much fun to discover.

Now if only I had access to a proper Internet on my computer... We don't have any connection (apart from the crappy 5gb one on a netbook I'm using now) for the next two days, so WoW is a no-go. :(

I hope that the developers come to their senses and change Kelbnar and Andrazor from elementals to beasts :I

Edit. Yeah I know, I know, it's rational that they are elementals because the way they are but those are just the kind of creatures I really hoped to be included to the new tameable rares.

Oh man, these are neat! I'm KINDA tepid on Ban'thalos (though I'm tickled to see a bird spirit beast at long last), but I think Ahnka is quite nice for someone who didn't want a cotton candy colored vapor cat.

Seeing these, though, I can't help but wonder if ZombieBear will make it in.

I loved it when I got my ghost wolf it took several people and several tries. I had to regem and usepots, drums and a shammy, to tame him before he despawned.

and it was fun to do, and I was and still am proud of that pet.

this is what I am looking forward to.

I'm VERY happy with the fact they're giving us more beasts and interesting tames to play around with, but I'm personally not particularly interested in more SBeasts. I raid and play as Surv and MM, so I'd love to see at least a few of them in a family that is actually able to fight by my side in raids.

Sporebats and Nether Rays most definitely need more love. D8

I like the idea of challenging tames. Sounds cool~ Ahh brings back the days of the Grimtotem Spirit Guide <3

But unfortunately, neither of these two (so far) impress me enough to bother with the challenging tame. Maybe the cat, but it suffers from the same thing I hated about Gondria (the ugly "old" transparency).

Now if one of these beasts is that skeletal dog creature... count me there!
