Any idea what the dailies are on your realms atm?

Unfortunately, I have no idea, but I'm too scared to leave to find out =(

Once they get going, they start spawning pretty frequently... as in, it shouldn't be more then 5-10 minutes between pack spawns.

Oh pft. So they just need a ramp-up time? Any idea what the dailies were that day?

Ooh, quite possible, it shows this:

Spider Attack
Aauuugh! They're everywhere! Cinderweb Spiderlings deal damage over time and slow target's movement.

That might also explain why people are seeing them in clumps, if they're getting released every few eggs.

That says SPIDERlings, we need BROODlings =(

It might be descriptive rather than exact--I haven't seen the daily so I'm not sure. I CAN say for sure that none of these spawned in the space of 4-5 hours on my realm, which had the dailies to 1. Heal downed Hyjal druid defenders with a salve bandage, 2. Kill fire-dogs, 3. Kill Fire "Invaders."

Based on healing druids on my realm being up today, and none in 1.5 hrs of camping, I hope that ends up being the case; I'm sure everyone here will be in touch. I'd flub the rare tame mechanics, so I'm chillin' on these guys. And I am impatient.

I can confirm that the NPC ID I gave, 53753, is the correct one for the tameable mob.

I can also confirm that there were no Clutchkeepers up when I saw them (I rode around looking).

Dailies were Wisp Away, Burn Victims, Hostile Elements, and The Harder They Fall. Though I suspect it might be a later daily, if any, that triggers this.

edit: Just saw another group and the one I tamed had its group despawn shortly after. Definitely thinking it's a daily thing.

i also belive these are tied to a daily now as i havent seen anny of the tameable ones for two days. now to wait for Egg daily.

I can confirm these guys exist and are tameable. They run around in packs of like 7-8. I have only seen them on my server for approximately 20-30 minutes and then didn't respawn. If you kill the pack they seem to respawn for like 20-30 minutes. They also go away on server reset. There are two other green kinds, one from druids and one in a phased area that are not tameable.

Taming is easy, If you have entrapment frost trap, tame one then FD or kill the rest. They still hurt with 7-8 beating on you while tame is going off.

It also might be something triggered by a daily but that *anyone* can then see, e.g. so it's possible that at least some of these broodling tames were made possible by a random stranger happening to pick up the right quest a little beforehand.

In the other thread a guy said he tamed them, but did NOT have the egg daily.

just saw a mob of 8 or so running around and could tame them

just getting the name of the dailies that are up now

I just watched the Hyjal Scout die and spawn the little green spiders. They are NOT tameable, and they despawn in about 45 sec.

On a happier note, I just tamed Kirix. =D

Edit: It appears they are bugged, and one of them is tameable. Just finished talking with a GM about it and he says that they are not intended to be tameable.

Congrats on the tame! And.. Really? o.O Wow, I wonder if that means they've already hotfixed it then? Or are planning to.
