Ryai, I have hated Blood elves since Frozen Throne. It has nothing to do with the player's who play them, and everything to do with the way Blizzard wrote them. The elves were always kind of aloof, but you always, ALWAYS had that core of devoted elves who stayed with the alliance. To see the elves as a whole reduced to whiney, self centered prigs pained me a lot. I despised Kael for what he did, almost as much as I despised Garithos for being such an ass to them. The whole thing was just very badly done, and was a piss poor excuse to turn the once proud and noble elves into bad guys.

That being said, I'd like the elves a LOT more if they'd all go with the story of redemption they introduced late in TBC, and not be the self centered narccists we all know and hate.

/end rant.

Personally, I am still holding out a faint hope that one day, the alliance will get the remains of the high elves as a playable race.

That is kinda what they are pointing towards lore-wise Palla... If not making us get High Elves, at least making Night elves have two branches. the Arcane Group of 'High' Night elves, who never really got into Druidism. and Druids. This is my explanation for Night Elf mages... Otherwise... I got nothing

If you are alliance you can actually pick up a cool little quest in Dalaran the night elves who will be mages are technically Quel'dorei(sp?) or the Highborne who were in fact completely different than high elves they kept their night elven shape. Blood elves and high elves were descended from the highborne and if you go into diremaul every night elf in there is a highborne. The original highborne were night elven shape and the ones that left the others changed and eventually became high elves and later blood elves. So it makes perfect sense that they come back, they were night elves but were in fact upper class night elves hence the name Highborne. Either way totally rolling a highborne mage. =D

Im just saying undead pallys make just as much sence as a gnome hunter would both of them ARE aganst the lore of both races. Gnomes are all about there gadjets and stuff not animals.

Then again, gnomes have a "ranger" class, the Gunslinger. Elven rangers weren't about the pets, they were about skill with the bow. Gnomish hunters are about as fitting in lore as blood elf hunters. Not to mention that almost all of the farstriders were killed in WC3. Elven rangers would be a rarity. Elven rangers with pets would be nonexisting. Gnomes with guns are plentiful.

I know but saying that why cant a human who was a pally in life be one in undeath? fits the lore just as much.

Well, according to the lore, undead priests ONLY use the shadow-tree. Paladins are ONLY Light. The Light turned it's back on them when they turned undead. Tainted pally-abilities would be cool tough.

Yes and there are corrupted paladins, the undead Crusader mobs in icecrown near the Crusaders Pinacle are paladins. Unholy light, Captain american style shield throw (I love that move). But seeing as they are serving the Lich king it might be the Lich power that powers the unholy power.
That made no sense.

i still insist on gnome hunters

as the biggest rival of the goblins gnomes should also get hunter

since vanilla engineering was most usefull to the hunter class
even in cataclysm engineers will craft bows( they said that at blizzcon)

So Goblin Engineering vs Gnome Engineering

it must come to Goblin Hunter vs Gnome Hunter

those Gnomes cant let the goblins outrun them.

over and out :p

Gnomes already start with +eng skill, Goblins don't, they have +alch skill, because Gnomes already have +eng skill. And as I said lore wise it doesn't really make sense, not for their race not for their characters not for anything. While Troll Druids is a very, very liberally artistic stretch of a class available for Trolls that does lean a bit towards Druidism [mostly note the naturalistic part of druidism about being one with the plants and animals and crap or some such nonsense], Gnomes have nothing for them to strike me that Blizzard would go- lets give them hunter class!

I mean Forsaken and Humans do have hints that hunters would make sense; most noteably for both is the forsaken quest giver in EPL[?] and how Sylvanas herself helped teach him basically.

And you could use that as an example that gnomes could learn- but then again gnomes see themselves as higher class creatures, most seem snobbish and rude. To caught up in their own exploits to do anything good.

I mean we;re talking about a race that thought; Nah lets not tame beasts or attempt to put any real effort into domesticating a real live animal. Lets just take some mechanical parts, slap them together to make a messy, oily, squeaky creature and call it a mount!

Goblins atleast have decency to make their vehicle an actual vehicle and not an insult to chocobos :(

But elven rangers are about as far from the hunter class as gnomish riflemen. Think about it. Blood Elves shouldn't get hunters. They never tamed animals. They were practically extinct after WC3. Since we get Belf Hunters, I want some Gnoam Hunters too!

Yes worgens can be hunters, if I remember correct they can be anything but a priest, shammy or paladin.
