Ocyen Twigget seem to see my point so i obviously must have made it and i dont know how much more clearly i can explain it lol. The spirit beast is a rare pet family if you want that familly you have to put in a little effort to get it that's just how it is blizzard likes to put rare things in the game like that take more than just the common player to get.

I'd like to provide a fair and balanced thread so each person will be able to decide for themselves and not make a decision based on who is the better debater.

Araga's skin was once rare all the way up till cata where it became a common skin and shes been in wow since vanilla so rares do change.

Pretty much this. It gets on my nerves trying to find a spirit beast repeatedly because I think it would fit better on one toon than it would the one I have it tamed on then have to camp again just to tame it.

Seriously, I am all for a common spirit beast. Make it drop a mini-pet version of the spirit beast as well, like Jadefang, and it becomes worthy for everyone--but it won't be the source of much griefing and if it is, well, it's common. It's like...a five minute respawn.

Just cause you fail to see the point its dose not mean not there like i said i dont know how more clearer i can get and i imply that not everyone deserves a spirit beast? i dont think your taking the time to read what im saying iv said multiple times that every hunters has a equal opportunity to tame a spirit beast just with this particular class it tales a little effort and somthing like that is a good consept and i think we should leave it as is.

and you are also making an assumption that blizzard will make this common when you have no possible way to know sometimes things do Stay rare forever and this just might be one of them

I would love this! I really only like spirit beasts cause of how pretty they are, and how they look... not cause they are all rare. I hate that they are rare cause it always drives me nuts to get one and I would love to just go out and tame something I like it with no hassle. If that makes me lame, so be it. I want to tame things that appeal to me (And for the most part without waiting... cause 5 months just to have Loque by my side sucked), and a common skin would be wonderful even if its subtle compared to the others... All other "rare" pets share abilities with commons. That is only half-true with Spirit Beasts. Cats will cover the Roar, but the pocket heal is unique to that family, and useful in many situations. If Spirit Beasts are to all remain "rare", then I'd like to see that pocket heal placed into a common family as well.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, there is no rare in my stable I would not gladly see made common. There is no "thrill of the hunt" in camping, in my opinion. If it can be said one is too wrapped up in Warcraft when they feel upset about something in-game, it could also be said camping is equally unhealthy. Not to mention the illusion that one is a better hunter than another because they have a "rare" beast. Rare, really? I see Sambas and Loque'Nahak more than I see That Cat From Southern Barrens. The only "special" is in your own mind. If you are taming beasts to show off to others rather than please yourself, you are Doing It Wrong(tm).

You spent a month camping Skoll. I grabbed mine on a random flyby to my Polar Bear daily. I got my little green lava spider in the Forlorn Spire. You camped Kirix for days and had to name it THEREALKIRIX. What does possession really prove?

RNG elitism is silly. I think the debacle that is the Molten Front rares alone has given a rather strong argument for that opinion.

Yeah, only thrill I find in the hunt is finally getting that silly rare cause then I can use it. But I HATE camping with a passion. Such a waste of my time. I always look back and hate the amount of time spent looking for some rare beasts. *sigh* Really, there should be some commons in this family

I also agree that a common spirit beast would be a great thing. They could even make it not quite as crazy as the others... Just make it something with an effect similar to some of the appearance buff pets, only intended. Like something on fire, or one of those faint ghostly glows... Or something.

I agree with making it something like a quest objective. Or, just a relatively common random solo mob, that respawns often, but maybe pats over the ENTIRE zone pretty much, or at least a large area (would hopefully be a nice middle ground, as it'd almost be guarenteed to be up, you just gotta find it!).

I also like the idea of it dropping a mini pet. But it should be something not too special, as we want it to be common, or the drop be rare, but I hate rare drops. What about.. a spirit beast worm, or any kind of undead/diseased looking animal... I really REALLY want a tiny beetle mini-pet <.< The beetles are adorable when tiny...

Also.. as to the comment of "all" spirit beasts requiring a grueling camp.. One word.. Ghostcrawler. I love my Sparkles.. but not many others seem to.. as he's up almost EVERY time I go check for the seahorsie...

And agreed. The thrill of the hunt should be finding that perfect beast that will just click.. (I've had a few I thought I would HATE that immediately clicked.. and others I thought would be awesome that I can't really stand... need to try some new skins for those)
