It might be better just to wait a bit, as I doubt Battletag will be used in wow before MoP. Hopefully the over-sensitivity will be addressed before then, and as the names are non-unique, it's not like you have to reserve a particular one.

In case there is a numbers problem, if any of you Alliance US people are interested, I am a part of an old world raiding group that runs a Wrath mount run (for black war mammoth, blue and azure drakes, black and twilight drakes, and Onyxian drake) as well as some other old world raids and we also run an Ulduar achievement raid (not always metas but you would eventually get your drake). All raids are ran at 11:00 central time zone.
Please, dont go away from this all-petopians plan, but if there happens to be not enough people or something I just wanted to be a source of backup perhaps. ^^

Need to know if you're NA or EU and if you're horde or alliance.

Not to be a killjoy, but from the upcoming patch notes...
You can now form same-faction raids with Real ID friends, allowing you to enter Raid Finder in groups larger than 5, run older normal or heroic raids, or participate in Battlegrounds...
It doesn't say anything about BattleTags being implemented for cross realm raiding, just the regular Real ID system like is currently in place to run cross-realm dungeons.
Not that Real ID cross-realm raiding isn't going to be just as awesome for running older raid content.

Bubble burst, I was under the impression battle tags were coming ALONG WITH the addition to the realid change.
If not I can imagine a lot of people will back out. ._.
Oh well, I can still organize for Alliance raids/5mans if you guys want. I'll just have to PM people my email as I don't want the forum bots to pick it up.
