Eh, idk what you guys have against the mini-Beholder, but I absolutely love it.

It has no commonality with the felpup other than being another demon.

Everything else has a logical old -> new vamp up but the beholder makes no sense.

I also REALLY don't like those things at all.

Yeah, I don't understand why they chose the beholder for the felpuppy upgrade. I think the corehound demon thing would have been a better choice. The only saving grace the beholder has for me is that a friend from game is really excited about it lol

They probably went with the beholder because using the other one could make people go "They gave a core hound to the warlocks, meh..." or something like that.

Well...if they made the Void terror...smaller for warlock pets, it would look neat.

WE primarily think corehound=hunter pet because we play hunters. But THIS particular skin of beasty isnt a beast, its a demon, and looks demonic.
Demons arent something that hunter pets look like. (demon dog skins aside )

To us, yes it is a demon, but for the majority of people who don't understand the hunter class and/or the warlock class, it's a core hound type mob, no matter how hard we try to make them understand. Never underestimate stupidity, as unlike intelligence, it has no limit.

They're cool, but I actually like fel hunters!

I do too, but...we don't get to keep the old ones with the new talent so liking them makes no difference.

I was watching my girlfriend play her beta (/jealous) today. We saw a shivan use an ability called "mesmerize" It....shot....RAINBOWS. Rainbows!

If you had two then DOUBLE RAINBOW!

You called everyone who doesn't agree with you "stupid" and implied they don't understand the hunter class to the degree that you, personally, do. Up till this point most of the discussion had been level-headed.


For my own 2c, I'd point out that there isn't anything that is naturally a "demon". Demons are creatures from a huge range of unrelated species, sentient and beastly, that have been corrupted. If some people wish to be able to tame the more beastly creatures, or at least non-demonic forms of them, that doesn't make them stupid, or ignorant.
