Anyone tame anything from Valley of four winds? I am just curious was most the beast lore i do is untamable. Did they jsut make stuff tamable in The Jade Forest?

Only Jade Forest beasts are tameable.

So, I think every single turtle in this latest build has been turned into the teal colour.

North-east short of Kun-Lai there were loads of "Azure Prickly Crawler"s. They're all level 87 and all blue deep sea crabs, so I wonder if it's just a renaming of the "Kun-Lai Blue Crab" you already have listed.

On the shore in the same area there were heaps of Zandalari Raptors as well. They're all the old model red skin.

Moving further west, in pools of water at the base of the water falls are "Lightfooted Snapclaw" water striders that use the mount model (not mounts though), all level 87 beasts and all using the Orange skin (I think.. their bodies were much lighter than I expected for that colour but it's the only one that makes sense.

Look what I found! :D It's the missing yellow Outland wind serpent!

It's level 90, found on the Windless Isle in the Jade Forest, and it's untamable but it has a diet of fish, bread and cheese. There are also orange Outland wind serpents with the same name and level 90 red and brown tigers, which can be seen in the screenshot. I'll look around to see if I can find anything else here.

Oh my!!! Good catch!

I love the name for it too.

That's a great find! I hope they make them colour-stable before live. Judging by the way they're fixing up other NPCs to have a single colour it's looking likely :)

Okay, other beasts are...

Windward Saber, red/brown tigers, diets of meat and fish, level 90, untameable. Windward Huntress, black tiger, diet of meat and fish, level 90, untameable. Windward Cub, red/brown tigers, diet of meat and fish, level 90, untameable. Dampnet Osprey, brown eagle, diet of meat and fish, level 90, untameable.

Thanks so much for the finds and putting em here! I'm sorry I'm being pretty sloppy on the updates. Lately I've been going out a lot and sleeping a lot and so right now I'm just mentally and physically exhausted. ^^; I'll get back on track hopefully tomorrow. :)

No, thank you :) This list could be the most valuable resource of the entire MoP forum and it's so awesome you're doing it :)

A few more Eagle Eye adventures tonight.

In VEB I came across a single level 90 purple cata croc (crocodilecataclysmblack) named "Vicejaw". I assume it's a named one (though wasn't flagged as elite, rare or quest), but I guess it could always be a generic NPC and I missed the rest of them.

There were also a bunch of neutral goats called "Black Bengal Goat". Stupidly I wasn't targetting them and didn't record their level. But they aren't black. They all seemed to be brown. It also annoys me they'd use an Earth place name. The only bit of the name they got right was "goat" :P

A bit further along I found a tunnel that descended to some kind of Mogu area. There were a lot of doors with cogwheels which I couldn't open but managed to eventually target through and keep going through a maze of corridors and rooms. There was a single named level 90 dark brown bone spider (bonespider_black) down there called Bloodtip Matriarch.

In one room of the same underground area, the minimap also showed a bunch of beasts called "Stonebound Watcher". Where they should be there were grey stone quilen statues that I couldn't target. I presume that if you trigger something in person they come to life. I can't say what level they'd be since I couldn't do that.

Also, in the middle of a small lake nearby I came across a beast on my minimap named "Gasaran". I couldn't see or target it (couln't see it in the water or up in the air). But right where it should be there was a weird green axe-shaped thing in the lake. Maybe that triggers the beast (whatever it is) to appear:

In Dread Wastes...

The western edge, more towards the south (but not as far as the island part) has some new bugs.

There are loads of tiny neutral level 90 scarabs called Dread Scarab. They seem to come in two very similar colours which were brown and orange (silithidscarabskintan and silithidscarabskingold).

There are also two kinds of aggressive wasp in the same region:
Hive Watchers are yellow silithid style wasps (silithidflyerskinyellow) of level 90.
Hive Keepers are level 89-90 red fireflies (fireflyskinblack).
WoWScrnShot_050212_000010.jpeg

And two kinds of Horde-style scorpid:
Onyx Venomtails are aggressive level 90 black Horde scorpids (hordescorpionblack).

Ruby Venomtails are aggressive level 90 red Horde scorpids (hordescorpionred).
So between those and the Seething Fleshrippers you already have listed (which are blue horde scorpids), I think we have every colour but green available on a common beast now. Maybe it'll show up as well, along with the new amber one.

Uuuugh. Wain, you keep pointing out beasts I have but forgot to put on the list. I'm so bad at staying focused when I'm around eagle eyeing. XD

The majority of these are ones I don't have, though! Great finds!

Huh. I guess they renamed the spider named Bloodtip.
I wish my eagle eye was working. You guys need to share your eagle eyeing spots. All of mine don't like me anymore. ;)

I... Have to say I hope green Madexx stays rare. <.< I mean, I would still keep mine, but I dunno, I'm a fan of unique rares I guess.

Mine has mostly been a bit unstable except tonight I got the flying bug, so I went up to the top of the really tall mountain at the corner of a few zones and that seemed to work well ;)

I also went and stood on the great wall by the dread wastes.

Ooh I haven't thought of trying things like that. I guess I was afraid of being ported. XD

I swear, nothing is more scary than exploring beta and getting the no mans land buff. the run back to get it off feels like slow motion. :P

Are you sure the orange one is not silithidscarabskinyellow, the Yellow silithid beetle? I hope so, because I would love to be able to tame an orange beetle other than Yauj Brood!
