I honestly want a moose mount.
I'd also love to have something skinned like that tomato red raptor that used to be the available alongside the ivory one.
I think a crab mount could be a lot of fun. My sister loves crabs and I agree with her concept that while on land they ought to run sideways.
A sea serpent/water dragon would be really interesting, I like the idea of something long and snake-like.
The idea of a firey or electrical qilin/kirin mount would be really impressive to see running about in the air.

well yeah most crabs walk side ways but theres a few that run forward like the wow ones do S: I don't know how a sideways walking one would work.

I don't either.. it makes me dizzy to think about it if while pressing forward and looking forward it started moving either left or right. I think the strangeness of it just appeals to me. :p In water it ought to swim properly back and forth though, perhaps in a similar manner as the spider. Spiders have one of my favorite swimming animations!

I don't think ive seen a spider swin never had one!

It works with the mini-pet spider as well if you have one of those! Very neat looking.

I haven't seen anywhere that they're going to be mounts... All I saw was that they're skins to be used in the game, nothing about whether they'll be mounts or just mobs. Where did you see that they'll be mounts?

Yes, I agree. That's why I originally posted the pictures in this thread, actually. But that's not the same as saying that they'll be mounts. I'd like to see where that's been mentioned, aside from wishful thinking.

Oh, if you look at the untextured model I linked it came from the alpha. It's only a silhouette because they haven't finished it yet but you can see how it has reins and how instead of it having back spines it has a saddle. I only put up the other one so you could have an idea of the colors patterns that had been created for wild versions.

I dunno.... I agree that it looks like that, I'm just doubtful about the veracity of the picture. *shrug* We'll see in due time. (Yeah, I'm impatient for the NDA to be lifted too! )

Fox mount would be sweet. Or maybe one like okami or nine tails.

*nods* I agree it's hard to know for sure but I'm feeling optimistic I guess. It came from this thread which shared a few other images such as the camel.

Since i missed out on getting the old unarmored horses, I got the next best thing; the Quel'dorei Steed. The thing that bugs me about most of the horses is that their mane is black. I think they need other colors like brown, grey or flaxen. I would really love to have a palomino zhevra mount. Something along the lines of this. http://i48.tinypic.com/2aaevcz.jpg

I want a mount for gnomes only... the tauren! A gnome sitting upon the tauren's shoulder. And you can do it to payers, too! As long as you're not pvp, adn there's a tauren and gnome, the gnome should be able to ride on his shoulder and/or head
