I think ALL reagent requiring skills no longer require reagents. I know mage portals/teleports/tables don't require them anymore as well.

Yeah, now that people have as much gold as they do, reagents don't really serve a purpose. originally it was to make you 'value' using certain spells a bit more because you had to invest money in them but... that was in vanilla. (and to some degree, BC). These days it's just an annoyance if you forget and run out. Hear hear for removing them.

Anyone have well-taken screenies of the horde one running around in horde-themed places? I'd love to see one in a 'natural' setting like the ally one in darnassus

I wish that they would add a form for each race.
I do love the new stags but my troll is screaming about how drab the color is of his new stag form so to make him happy, I experimented to see what a colorful stag would look like(troll armor not included because i haven't been able to make nice looking armor).
I might... try some different color combos later.

if trolls got their own stag form.. id have to race change to tauren.. that brown stag form is just way too perfect for the horde environment, ive chosen sholazar as my trolls 'home' cause bat form looks amazing in there, and its not tinted green like un'goro is so i can really appreciate the landscape and the colors within said landscape but i acutally spend most of my real game time in org or doing random things in the cata zones. None of the cata zones hold troll shapeshifting colors very well. Theres no meshing happening, they're just way too different so i often only go in them to herb for my alchemy or fish for my cooking rather then RPing.

The Horde stag says Tauren AND Troll to me, to be completely honest.
The Alliance stag... just says Night Elf to me though.

Two things I've noticed about the stags:
1. Horde stag is the only one using a different base model. Alliance stag has the same horn as wild stags. Horde stag horns are thicker and more jagged(?). It would seem that both forms are designed based on the original druid races, night elves and tauren. The features match both of these races.
2. The horn ornaments on both stag forms do not move. When running, because the head is raised a bit compared to when standing still, the ornaments point forward when they should be pointing backwards, from flowing wind and whatnot.

I'm really glad the talbuks were just placeholders. I know we see a lot of Outland mobs end up in other areas, but talbuks just felt weird being on Pandaria.

I kinda liked the talbuks there, they reminded me of the giant red gazelles from Princess Mononoke

Talbuks have always reminded me of Yakul from Princess Mononoke. I love them for that, I just didn't think they fit into Pandaria. They're such a native Outland creature.

I've seen more gazelles/antelopes this build. Noticed one drinking from the river.
