Agreed. Take a chill pill before a mod locks this thread up tight and throws away the key.

Well, I caved and bought a TCG mount to cover some of the expense of a mount buy.
I'm getting it for 80k, which is the cheapest I've seen anywhere.
Although I might feel a little bad for buying my way into it, I've tried to get into so many openraid groups it's not even funny.
The ones that seem the most promising only accept Firelords, or people with 6/7H experience, and seeing phase 4.
The ones I get into can't get past Rhyolith... even if I managed to get to H-Rag and kill him by some miraculous work of fate, I'd still only have a 1/10 or 1/25 chance of winning the mount: it was really unlikely I would have ever been able to win the mount by the 25th by conventional means.

I encourage others with heroic experience or a good amount of money to invest in this beautiful mount. I'll update this post when I (hopefully) have the mount by next week or so!

Yeah, the reality of it is, if you want thins mount you better do it now and it's the best/safest way to it.... unless they release a minimum of 2-3 more expansions and they never do an item/stat crush, and you have a bucket of luck. The mechanics for some of the bosses (All of which you have to kill to get to rags) are dam near impossible to solo without EXTREME overpowering. I mean maybe doable in 3 expansion time? (maybe..) but to weekly grind out the whole of FL for a 1-2% drops chance... omg erk!

Seriously though, it's just a mount, but if you collect them for any reason you will most likely want this one (personally I think it's beautiful ). I've also felt the pang of something hard to get or achieve made trivial over time and it can be pretty annoying. Call me elitist or what ever because of it, but I've also gotten over that and come to terms with it, that's just the way the game works. If we had the best of everything all the time, would it really be the best...?

I see that there was some... excitement on this thread over night. I hope by now it's been sorted out or taken to PMs, as Everdeen suggested, and we can leave it at that

Update: I finally got the mount, after a lot of issues with guild transferring and the like!

This is probably the most beautiful mount, in my opinion. Definitely worth the time and effort spent to get it (pugging 6/7H, failing at Rag over and over, and finally finding a group of extremely talented raiders willing to help me out for some money.)
