Wait what?!? Does this mean that all oily pups and consumed bears, etc. have had their effects removed now also? Or just those whom had the fire effect, I'm confused... :|
It appears as though it's only the new fire pets, my oil wolf and burning boar are still intact.
Oh thank heavens, my oil stained wolf is my pride and joy on my engineering bounty hunter @_@

Fixing it was important. Even though this instance was a harmless and fun cosmetic buff, the loophole may have allowed exploitable buffs to sneak through as well. It's a shame for anyone who wanted to try it though.

A lot of things have been fixed in a hurry in the last 24 hours. My guess is that they were just having a clean up marathon. Maybe in prep for 5.1, which I believe is supposed to be sooner rather than later.
And yet, Minfernals are still stuck and unobtainable with CRZ errors, neither seasonal pet (owl or guardling) is spawning, some pets simply aren't spawning or aren't actually on live first place... couldn't you fix something that's a global issue before robbing me of some harmless fire? Oof, up too late with little battle pets to show for it.

Discovered sadly that using Stampede in the new dungeons caused my fire-buffed pets to have that buff removed...darn Terropene was really awesome double burning!

I cry inside every day, as common courtesy withers away. Are you part of the problem or will you help it grow?

Am late like mad dog but I only just opened petopia now :( I was pretty much too busy leveling and other things to think about my post and if anyone perhaps said anything.... BUT! I'm here and sorry you misunderstood me but I meant he'll just be boring without the flame because I don't like him anymore so with his old effects back his just normal again so to speak and so I prefer my boar because at least he's on fire.

So in short to me his become a boring pet because he has no interesting effects, the sword and ghostly appearance do nothing to me to make me like him, he needs more effects! Lol

And the flame made him perfect specially when it engulfed his entire face truly epic!

Kinda wish I kept my oil wolf >.> how could I have been such an idiot!
