That was mostly a joke, but there are indeed several races in WoW of which there are known only males. I don't think there's a single named female Ogre (though there's been wives of ogres mentioned rarely) and Jinyu females are only implied. Hozen? The *only* mention of a female Hozen is Ken-Ken mentioning his grandma. I can't remember other "male-only" races off the top of my head, but there's several where there's been no named females, and most of those races have no female models.
I must admit it continues to surprise me how many new races they produce with no females. For vanilla WoW it's not so surprising... that was the same art team mentality that produced all those platekinis. But I would have expected better now. It feels like a subconscious mysogyny... that only a male presence is really important for quest lines, but we'll make females if we have time.

With some races, it could be explained that they just look identical (to humans) with their clothing on. In fact that could be the case for many of them. But to my knowledge they don't even give the NPCs female personalities.

With ogres, I always thought it'd be cool if they were hermaphrodites, or reproduced by parthenogenesis or something.

Well you never know some races the females might sound like the males *shrug* I mean who knows what a female Hozen would sound like. They might be the deepest voiced ones.

I mean the female pigmen voices are pretty deep

True. In fact I love the quilboar female voice. It reminds me of Aughra :)

It's just that when a pronoun is used to refer to most of these races, it's usually just male.

That is true. I don't know many MMOs that do have both genders for every humaniod race :/
