From what I understand, Niuzao took the place of the turtle. So I'm kinda doubting this turtle will have anything to do with it. However! I could be wrong on that. XD

The icon called PET Thunderbeaver has my hopes up. I like the beavers and they already appear in Dire beast sometimes. So we know they have the animations.

I'd love to have a thunderbeaver pet.

I'm thinking the thunder beaver will be one of the new elite pets: "Elite Battle Pets have been added to the game world. These rare pets will spawn alone against an entire team. A new quest has been added to track progress as these new pets are hunted down, and defeating that quest will award the new Red Panda pet."

And the turtle I'm pretty sure the turtle WILL be a raid boss but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a tameable pet too. Would be a really cool spirit beast but who knows at this point.

Seeing as the FITE PORCUPINE FITE thread ended with FITE SPIRIT PORCUPINE FITE, it's pretty obvious it's the Spirit Beast.

Not trying to be argumentative, but that says nothing about the beaver. A beaver is a far stretch from a red panda. I mean they're both warm blooded, mammals with fur and 4 legs but... *shrugs*

The Beaver has a full set of animations, including drowned. Doesn't seem like a battle pet to me. They usually don't have that level of textures and such. I'm not saying the thunderbeaver WILL be tameable, I just see nothing to indicate it's a battle pet instead of a tameable pet.

Pepsi, while that is true, the icon is labeled as a pet. I think it's somewhere in the thread. 3rd page I think? I think that, coupled with the notes, is what kind of hints at a mini pet. Could still be a wrong assumption though. :O

Or it could be both! But that's just speculation.

At the very least, Pepsi, minipet form for the Thunder Beaver seems quite likely due to the associated icon, as previously mentioned.

That thunder turtle model looks like the work of gods. But no, it really does look great and I hope it's going to have a rare spirit beast version of it as it's been confirmed that it's a raid boss, as far as I know.

I'm not too keen on the porcupine, but that might be because I'm not a huge porcupine fan and not a huge 'spectral spirit beasts' fan. I hope you like it though, Kalliope.

Hee, I'm as tired of blue spectral spectral spirit beasts as a number of other hunters. However, I do think this guy has some sort of charm to him, which somehow makes it okay. That and I've been looking forward to seeing the spirit porcupine FITE since GC's comment.

I won't be taming him myself, either way; I have Calydonian and he's all the porcupine I'll ever need, no matter how much I like the family.

Indeed. He's charming but I'm sick of the blue, ghostly spirit beasts as much as anyone else is. however, we're all happy if it makes another hunter squeal with delight.

umm for the beaver. i remeber that sometimes when i use dire beast a beaver comes along to fight.so ether thats to say we might get a beaver at some point or its a confussing mad beaver that attacks cause it heard my beast call.
