For the fliers, I guess the saddled/armoured ones will be mounts, while the rest will be just mobs.

I would put my bet on only the devilsaur and triceratops being tameable. The triceratops is a real beauty (he'd go to the rhino familly perphaps?), but what I really dig is the bronze devilsaur. He really fit my hunter's bronze dragonflight theme much better than my current red one, and if he hits live, I'd go over my head to get him my precioussss....

...Well, I've just been sold again. MoP, here I come!

All these new models really show us the graphical improvements in WoW over the years.


I love that we're likely gonna get the devilsaur and triceratops, but.. without trying to sound entitled, I have to admit I would love for that pterodactyl to be tameable. That's a gorgeous model. I doubt it will though. :[


The new devilsaurs may just make me tame a devilsaur, especially if a black one is added sometime.

It's okay to want something to be tameable. :3 I think we'd all love to see one become tameable someday. I don't think that leans towards entitlement attitude at all. It's a wish and nothing more. The entitlement comes in when someone get huffy and such if something they want isn't put in or they're just all around not happy we got anything at all because they didn't like what we got in the first place. That's the kind of 'tude we like to steer clear from. But wishing/hoping is perfectly okay! :3 Kinda what this thread is for(least for stuff that's discovered atm)

This, exactly. There's a difference between "I wish..." and "This isn't enough..."

Haha, I saw a mustache too. Also, with those weapons at his side, I was reminded of Trexbo! (warning: cursing and stuff)

I dunno about a moustache, but I cannot unsee the fact that there are TEETH on his armor....that go over his teeth. Which is amazing.

Hm, what about hydras, i think some dev said they didn't like their model and they'd think of adding them when they get a new model, well so far there are four new hydra head models (good enough for me )

I had hoped for something like that too, but it seems more likely to be a boss fight much like Deathwing where only the heads themselves will be what you're fighting while the rest is submerged.

One thing is for sure though, those heads made into one hydra model would be so epic it would make the world explode.


As for pterodactyls. I guess Blizzard does realize how much most people want them as pets, so I'm sure they'll at least consider making them pets instead of outright saying no.

Though, I think a good way to fix the "air animations or walking animations" issue is by making an ability akin to trick that allows the flying pet to switch from flying animations to grounded animations and vice versa.

The same could be done if Mantid Kunchong were ever made tameable.

Now this is something to be excited about :3

that non feathered dino bird looks awesome hope its going to be a mount for players.

mm that turtle with the minerals, could that possible be a new SB pet? or at least a new turtle skin as rare spawn?

That quote is what makes me think there's more to it than just 'You have t obe BM'. You *might* need to be a Beast Master t otame them, but there's some new mechanic coming in for them if I read that right. Even if it's just a questline to find where they nest.

I'm not even positive I want a triceratops (I'll need to wait and see what abilities they give them, and what else might be tameable) but I *LOVE* this idea. Having to wait out the PTR in Vanilla (because I'm mostly anti-spoiler) will be hard!

But they're gold, so they remind me of a grill. Yes Ladies and Gentlemen that devilsaur has a grill.

That armored devilsaur is probably Oondasta, one of the new world boss.
