Oh they didn't heal anything. The implication is just that the time of the spiral ended, and those two, along with everyone else in the town, died there. Those lost EPisodes took place before the actual end of the series chronologically. They'd have taken place before Medusa. The general idea is that whatever it was down in that hole wanted people to know that it was there for whatever reason, had a facination with attention, and so it found various way's to ensare people, to cause it to look lovingly upon it's form, and finally upon it itself. And then, just as suddenly as it come's, it disappears, and all the rest of the world see's is the mysterious aftermath.

They mentioned that the city underneath, or whatever you call it, seemed "alive", so I kinda figured it drove everyone mad until they would basically make themselves fertilizer. Thus, allowing the "city" to keep growing... just my take on it.

I think my experience with the Petopia community can be summed up in that. Just sayin'.

Ryno, that would actually be kind of disturbing......
I love the Silent Hill games. Except Homecoming. Worst excuse for a Silent Hill ever. And I won't touch Shattered Dreams. I watched the ending, and it was enough to tell me what I already knew: Kaufman is a f!@$-faced asshat.

*Reads Tomie*
Why won't she die...? EVIL!
And Gyo's ending... Eh? That's it? That's not an ending! It's a cliffhanger! Is there a Gyo2 or something?

It's a stereotypical 'evil' laughter from anime and manga mostly.
