I think the fairy dragon will be a store mount. That's how I feel right now. I'm hoping that it is. I really want to get it right now. xD It has a unique mount animation. I see it fitting well in the store. I really hope it isn't restricted to one side cause I want to ride it on my Horde toons too. So that's why I think it'll be a store mount.

To my knowledge if the ptr is just beginning then they could let all characters test it out. Once again, I dont know BUT I've seen a night elf on it too, it could be alliance only or it could be Blizz store who knows.

I hope this is a blizzard store pet. If this a was a faction pet, which one would it be for? One to be determined later?

Tooltip makes it seem like a Blizzard Store mount. As long as I can get this, I don't care. But if it is a Blizzard Store mount, what about all the different colours? I want blue. D:

The mount changes colors, idk if you watched the video or not? But yes, the mount changes to all the different colors and switches between them.

No it won't. That's just MMO-C's way of showing off all the different model colours. They've done that for loads of mount previews. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_QYG4Nz2dM

There was also loads of datamined colours for the Windsteed that never happened.

Edit: dnsfjsdnfjks SORRY. It seems you're right! I didn't notice the first time, but I had it in HD and fullscreen'd this time and the transition between the colours is very subtle. It looks like it actually does change on it's own. I'm not sure if I like that or not right now, but it's clever. I literally assumed it was MMO-C's normal way of showing off different skins! Sorry!

I think these early previous are from a sandbox version of the game. My guess is they aren't bound by the same rules as legit clients.

I don't know if they mixed the mount up with the pet models or what has happened here? This guy is huge and I love it! The companion pet version also fades from one colour to another.

I don't think there has ever been a mount so detailed like that one is that wasn't a store bought mount. I think that's what it is,but I hope I'm wrong. And I really hope the pet thing is a model mix up, not that the new one isn't awesome I'm just attached to the old one.

/is probably sure it was just a mix up though, it's HUUUUUGE for a minipet. Like, HUUUUGE. (least I can see now they did give it the webbing ontop of its body but its still not very well linked to their original and my favorite out of the two, models)

After seeing Yoruko's post, I gave mine a pet biscuit and LOL



edit: (Yoruko beat me to it! ) out of curiosity, I checked the sprite darters in the wild. they too have changed, and are HUGE



maybe its the scaling, if they were smaller it would fit, but I kinda thought the mount was a "grown up" version of these things. i didnt think this would BECOME the model they use.

The ones in the wild have also changed:

They have normal dragon combat animations too, and combat doesn't seem to affect their color changing frequency.
